Mohans reality check - Page 6

We differ on our timelines but are on the same page for the most part... 😆 ...I'm gonna crash...have a gr8 day ahead...

I don't like the development of Mohan's character. When he was drunk, he was romantic. I even believed he was falling in love with Kastur just like she did! Then the dumb game at the beach shows the old Mohan who doesn't love Kastur!
It's like he's on a roller coaster. One day, he takes her out and almost kisses her and the next he blatantly says he's not in love. Even before they'd gotten married. When they were out, on the bus, he moved in near her so another guy wouldn't bump into her. Then later, he turned selfish. I don't understand the development of his character!
He's caring and nice to Kastur some days and others, he's completely focused on his dreams of becoming rich!

Mohan protecting kastur in the bus has nothing to do with anything else, he was right when he told saroj he would do that for any girl ... its a quality in his char which i feel has to do with respect of women more than anything else. He does care for kastur because he has been show to be a caring person despite the fact that he is a little selfish or self-centered when it comes to his dreams.

As for him getting romantic on beach with kastur, he was intoxicated ... may be some where deep down he does feel something for her, which he does not realize yet and in that intoxicated state his subconscious took over his conscious ... i agree mohan's char has been off at times but the things you have mentioned are not contradictory to development of his char in my opinion

Mohan is a complicated char and unpredictable too, it is at times difficult to make sense of him

Anj, trust me I agree with 99 per cent of what you say. I just do think in his own way he did accept her as his wife, but it was never the way he should have accepted her. I think his acceptance happened it even prior to the engagement even.
