Written update
~*~ Devon Ke Dev Mahadev ~*~

9th May 2014 : ' Devote and the divine '

Must watch for the profound knowledge each scene gives.

K meditates, Mahadev visits him...K pays his respect to his daddy...Shiva says Kailash n his little bro is missing them. K says that he too misses them and the guilt of not carrying fwd his duties correctly..he feels terrible of the happening. Mahadev tells him that every person who does good to the society is faced with this doubt and fear while they carry on their duties- this trait is great- this sensibility and change is good..its not the sign of weakness.,,but the liveliness of the self- the sign of strength- that he is thoughtful and complete. Shiva tells its his decision when he feels calm ..and whenever he feels so then he should come back asap..(BG is soulful)

Agnidev troubles all the devas at swarg..he tells that he is strong and powerful..now that he is devsenapati he should be given more importance. Dev Guru tells him to chill, as he is already strong and sit right for he can't aim for Indrpadh. Indr is kinda shocked that why was he suggesting Agnidev of his position..
Agini dev thanks Dev guru for the suggestion and tells that he'd do just that..
Devraj tries to convince Agnidev not to go that way as he too would be in trouble..arrogance n pride will never lead him to contentment. He gives Agnidev his own examples in order to save his seat. Agnidev warns Indr

Indr reminds Agnidev of the curse given to him by Parvati ma on K's birth and Mahadev's damge control work of that curse. Indr tells that if Mahadev gets angry o him then no one would be able to help him.
Agnidev is overdoing this saying even Mahadev wont get ashes if he is not there..now that he knows that no one knows his importance in the world..he'd let everyone know who he is.

Naradji tells Mahadev that Agnidev is on the lose..Shiva tells that he has been given a chance which he is misusing and he'll reap the consequences.
Naradji in amsument says that they give chance to everyone..but sadly no one makes good use of it.

Mahadev tells he wishes to give him too a chance..on asked he tells that a meet with Narayan..is that chance.
Naradji tells that its been so long that Narayan spoke with him..met him..he is now in his Krishna form and have forgotten him- he has become the world's fav
.why would he wish to meet him..and even if he wishes then the wish should come from both the sides..and if he wished to see him, he could have called him..
Mahadev tells dose a devote need invitation from the divine. Naradji replies not invitation but a hint .
Shiva tells a very wise thing 'the very thought of meeting the divine in a devotee's mind is the HINT that the divine wishes to meet you- even Narayan wishes to meet him.'

Naradji feels glad and leaves for Dwarka.
Devguru n Indr discuss abt Agnidev's acts..Indr tells Agnidev should himself realize his mistake and thus he doesn't wish to talk or fight him.
They at the end decide to stop Agnidev ..and the only way is K. They should bring K at the earliest.

Devrishi Narad reaches Dwarka and is welcomed by Rukmini (Lakshmi devi) he wishes her..on asked the reason for his visit, Naradji tells he just came by to meet Dwarkadesh not important though.
Krishn comes there they wish each other, Naradji is feels blessed to see his Narayan...mischievous Krishna asks Naradji tat he can visit the three worlds anytime, but didn't come and meet him even once...though late he has come..he feels good.
He puts Naradji in tight spot asking the reason for his visit.. all Rukmini devi could do is wonder.

Anirush does some nakhra in eating the food, Usha tells him not to disrespect food...but he blames Banasur for his kidnap..and bashes him..the daughter doesn't feel good abt this and bashes him back saying he doesn't need to go to his father's clan...as she was wrong. there is a heated argument btw them..Anirudh says he feels weird abt a woman kidnapping a man.
Then Usha says sternly that its not her father's fault, she kept him captive..her clan has great ppl like Bali and Prahlad besides she has been brought up by Mahadev n family..been taught by Parvati ma herself he asks then why did she kidnap him...as se saw him in her dream..wah this melts the guy😆 and his eyes soften towards her. USha tells that she never knew him or saw him yet he came in her dreams..thats why he was there..she tells that its all destiny that has brought them there.

At Dwarka...Krishna continues to put Narad n tight spot by asking why he was there..Nardji tells that he came to meet them..Krishna asks him tell them more abt Narayan..Nardaji in himself tells 'Prabhu why are u testing'
He then replies that Narayan's devotion defines him.

Then Balram asks them to chuck the sweet talk and talk abt important stuff like Banasur..Naradji tells that Anirudhis ta Shonikpur and is taken good care of..Balram doubted that they have kidnapped Anirudh.
They should start a war..Krishn reminds him o the promise he did to Mahadev.

Krishna asks Balram to calm down and reaso if Anirudh has gone to SHonkipur by his will or by force...
Naradji utters 'as u say Dwarkadheesh'
Balram asks why he says that..?
Krishn covers saying that Naradji wishes to leave...

Back here Agnidev ties to scare the rishis by blowing off the havan fire and diyas...he demands them to give all the havish dedicated to himself and not to give any importance to other devas..or they'd be subjected to his wrath.

The rishis go to Mahadev and complain abt Agnidev that the kid is overreacting now getting new position he is troubling in yagyas and all abt what Agnidev demands..

They request Shiva to stop Agnidev's acts.
maahdev decides that he won;t et any innocent be hurt by Agnidev

************************************

Precap:

Anirudh talks to USha that Yadhuvanshi clan and Asura clan had always fought..Usha replies that this time there will be LOVE.
Agnidev bully's the humans. K observes all this and warns him to stop the destruction.

The whole part with narad saying that narayan doesn't want to meet Narad muni was fasle during the the avatar Narad played many roles for lord krishna here are some exmaple

Narad Muni meeting with Lord Krishna

Satyabhama and Narad Muni
Satyabhama, Wife Of Lord KrishnaIn the Puranas it is mentioned that Satyabhama is the daughter of Satrajit. Satyabhama is the third wife of Lord Krishna, renowned for both her strong will and bad temper. She is believed to be an Avatar or incarnation of Bhudevi.

Satrajit was the owner of the Syamantaka jewel. Satrajit, secured the jewel from Surya and therefore never wanted to part with it even once when Krishna, asked for it he said that the jewel would be safe with him. After some time, Prasena, the brother of Satrajit went out hunting wearing the jewel but was killed by a lion. Then Jambavan (Jamvanta, Mythical Character) killed the lion and gave the jewel to his son to play with it. When Prasena did not return, Satrajit wrongly blamed Krishna for killing Prasena for the sake of the jewel.

Krishna to prove himself innocent set out in search of the jewel and found it in Jambavan's cave, with his child. Jambavan attacked Krishna thinking him to be a trespasser who had come to take away the jewel. Both of them fought for continuous twenty eight days. At last Jambavan's whole body was horribly wounded from the thrashing of Krishna's fists. Jambavan recognised Him and surrendered. Jambavan was remorseful and gave Krishna the jewel.

Then Krishna returned the jewel to Satrajit, who also repented for his allegation. He offered Krishna the jewel and also wanted Krishna to marry his daughter Satyabhama . Krishna accepted Satyabhama's hand but denied from accepting the jewel.

There is a legendary story related to Satyabhama and Narakasura. Narakasura was a demon king who ruled Pragjothishyapur. He was blessed by Lord Brahma that he would be unbeatable and would die only in the hands of his mother. Narakasura used this power of immortality and gradually became a dictator. He became infamous for his evil ruling and for disrespecting demigods and women. Narakasura defeated Lord Indra, king of gods, and snatched sixteen thousand women and imprisoned them in his palace. He once stole the earrings of Aditi, the heavenly mother goddess, and seized some of her territory. Aditi was a relative of Satyabhama. Satyabhama was believed to be an incarnation of Bhudevi and Bhudevi was Narakasura' mother. When Satyabhama heard of Narakasuara's cruelty towards women and his behaviour with Aditi, she was infuriated. Satyabhama discussed this problem with Lord Krishna and took permission to declare a war against Narakasura. Krishna agreed and presented his Garuda as her mount and both rode to the city ruled by Narakasura.

Narakasura and lord krishna In the war Satyabhama fought with Narakasura valiantly but he was more skillful. After a few days Narakasura got a chance to hurt Krishna. Krishna fainted as per the predestined divinely plan made with Satyabhama. When Satyabhama saw Narakasura attacking Krishna then she got furious. She doubled her strength and attacked the demon king Narakasura and finally. Before Narakasura's death, he requested a boon from his mother, Satyabhama that everyone should celebrate his death with colourful lights. Accordingly this day is celebrated as the first day of Diwali or Naraka Chaturdashi.

After her victory, Satyabhama freed all the prisoners of Narakasura. Satyabhama rescued the sixteen thousand women and Lord Krishna married them for the reason of their purity which they preserved regardless of being made captives.

Satyabhama was proud of herself as she was loved by Lord Krishna. Suddenly one day Narada Muni arrived in Dwarka. Narada Muni said her that Lord Krishna's love towards her is not real and that Krishna truly loves Rukmini, his first wife. He also said that Rukmini has the real control over his heart. Hearing all these Satyabhama became very jealous and was unable to tolerate what Narada said. She challenged Narada to prove him false.

Narada tricked Satyabhama into accepting a Vrata or ritual. In the ritual she has to give Krishna away in charity to Narada and to reclaim him by giving wealth in accord to Krishna's weight (Tulabharam). Narada tempted her into accepting this vrata by telling her that Krishna's love for her will be multiplied if she succeeds in performing this Tulabharam, weighing by scale. Narada also instigated her ego by hinting that her wealth may not be sufficient to equal the weight of Krishna. Satyabhama's ego doubled and she told Narada that she can assemble enough wealth to outweigh Krishna.

Narada cautioned her that if she fails in her task then Lord Krishna will become his slave and has to work to please him. Satyabhama prepared herself for the Vrata and gave Krishna away in charity despite the pleading of the other wives of Krishna. Krishna being mischievous humbly submitted to this drama. After giving Krishna to Narada, Satyabhama arranged for a big weighing scale to be put up and send with all assurance for her huge treasure of gold and jewellery. All her possession was soon put on the scale, but the scale didn't move. Narada started mocking her and threatened her that if Satyabhama can not put enough jewels then he will be enforced to auction Krishna as a slave to someone else. Satyabhama was frenzied and in panic consumed all her pride within herself and begged all the other wives to give their jewels. All the wives of Krishna agreed to give their jewels for their love for Krishna but unfortunately, it is of no use.

Lord Krishna remained speechless and mischieviously witnessed all this drama. Then to create more drama it was decided by Narada that Krishna would become a slave to some cowherd and will have to suffer the separation from his dear wife Satyabhama. Narada recommended Satyabhama that Rukmini may be able to get her out of the predicament. Finally Satyabhama got rid of her pride and pleaded to the devoted first wife of Krishna, Rukmini. Rukmini came and with a prayer to her husband put a single leaf of the sacred Tulasi on the scale or 'tula'. The scale surprisingly became so heavy that even after removing all the jewels, the scales were weighed down on the side of the Tulasi leaf. This story describes the significance of Tulsi and how a humble offering to God is greater than any material wealth.

PRADYUMNA. [Source: Dowson's Classical Dictionary of Hindu Mythology] A son of Krishna by Rukmini.

When a child only six days old, he was stolen by the demon Sambara and thrown into the ocean. There he was swallowed by a fish, which was afterwards caught and carried to the house of Sambara. When the fish was opened, a beautiful child was discovered, and Mayadevi or Mayavati, the mistress of Sambara's household, took him under her care. The sage Narada informed her who the child was, and she reared him carefully.

When he grew up she fell in love with him, and informed him who he was and how he had been carried off by Sambara. He defied the demon to battle, and after a long conflict slew him. Then he flew through the air with Mayavati, and alighted in the inner apartments of his father's palace.

Krishna presented him to his mother Rukmini "with the virtuous Mayavati his wife," declaring her really to be the goddess Rati.

Pradyumna also married Kakudmati, the daughter of Rukmin, and had by her a son named Aniruddha.

Pradyumna was killed at Dwaraka in the presence of his father during a drunken brawl.

Though Pradyumna passed as the son of Krishna, he was, according to the legend, a revival or resuscitation of Kama, the god of love, who was reduced to ashes by the fiery glance of Siva, and so the name Pradyumna is used for Kama.

The Vishnu Purana puts the following words into the mouth of Narada when he presented Pradyumna to Rukmini: "When Manmatha (the deity of love) had perished, the goddess of beauty (Rati), desirous to secure his revival, assumed a delusive form, and by her charms fascinated the demon Sambara, and exhibited herself to him in various illusory enjoyments. This thy son is the descended Kama ; and this is (the goddess) Rati, his wife. There is no occasion for any uncertainty; this is thy daughter-in-law."

In the Harivansa he has a wife named Prabhavati, daughter of King Vajranabha. When he went to see her for the first time, he changed himself into a bee and lived in a garland of flowers which had been prepared for her.

According to the Mahabharata, he was Sanatkumara, the son of Brahma.

Thanks for the WU. Krishna has made the rather dull drag scenario a little interesting. SRJ looks very endearing as Krishna. Like the turban with the mor pankh and the naughty look.

and I feel that as far as veracity of whether Narad played any roles during Krishna avtaar or not, this is something that the particular scene or this track is not delving into..
Narad's complaint was that of an innocent devotee who even though spending eternity beside his Lord still feels that it is not enough... Narad might have played many roles.. but first and foremost he is a Devotee who yearns to be with his Lord, who years to perform His endless tasks
