I was under the impression that Malsa was the 1 keen on killing Malla & Mani, Lord Shiva was there just to assist her. So, I'm wondering why Shiva was so keen on killing someone that Malsa (who became Kali) wanted to save? Why didn't Lord Shiva just forgive them since Kali is so bent on protecting? why bring destruction to the world or bringing the destruction was the whole point?

Malla is evil. Mahakali doesn't actually want to protect him, but since he has requested her to do so, she has to. It is amazing how Mata can do anything for her devotees. One drawback is she doesn't see the devotees intentions. Otherwise she is a really benevolent, as well as malevolent Goddess. So that is why Mahadev had to stop her, because he was not bound to protect Malla.

but as Adi Shakti she shld be aware of the consequences & also isn't she bound in protecting all living things too? especially the good souls.

Adhi shakthi ses everything. If i take an example feks. ravan he was great bhakta he did some good things even it was small compare to the sinns he commited. When he prayed to lord shiva sincerely lord shiva was forced to grant him his whishes even he knew ravans nature. I think that is the law of gods when you pray sincerely you have to be granted what you seek. Its about the free will.

To a certain point feks. Like you have a bowl of water every time you do good things to the world unselfishly the level of water will increase. If you do the bad things the water level will decrease and the gods will respond. And how the great the sins are will come the earth. Or you can think that boons are like knife given by the gods and how you use it, use it for welfare of theworld gods will be happy with you use it bad way the boons it self make you killed.
Its very simplyfied explations, but i tried to explain my version. Soory if i hurt someones belief.

in one of the episode ... narada said she is bholi like shiva... during her kali form when mala and mani came to take her... that time also devi went with them... dint she know about their evil intentions to trap her ?

she did.. but she was touched by their bhakti...

like shiva she is also bholi... she responds innocently towards bhakt prayer..

and shiva in aghora form wanted to punish them behalf of kali... so he was hell bent ...

According to your explanation all who does good is protected or saved... but that's not exactly what happens around us... ofcourse it's easier to blame on Karma (which none of us know whether true or not) since none can remember past life.

My strong believe is God is beyond Maya when Shiv-Shakti are suppose to be beyond Maya & knowing full well of consequences, why do they engage in such an act?

Thanks to everyone here for trying to answer my query.. anyway I will accept a fren's explanation whose not on this forum... Mythologies are written by sages - saints to show common men the way of moral living. Hopefully such mythologies do instil such values with those who watching, reading or hearing it.
