as for kekai I dont know her past history I know just that she helped dashrath at a battle for which dashrath gave her two boons which she utilized when her son grew up and shri saraswati sat on her toungue when she asked those boons from dashrath to be fullfilled by sending ram for 14 yrs exile and to make bharat king of ayodhya

I don't know how much this story is true .As I also have heard about gods requesting Saraswati ma to make kaikayi ask for those two boons .

But whats truth is kaikayi was not wrong which I have never seen in TV series of Ramayana .

Ravan's character used to be okay in others but here ,he seems more comedian to me ,look wise as well as character wise. He nowhere seems like a king with so much strength ,powers ,education ,sharp mind .Nothing at all.

Yes True Ravan was the greatest vidwan an intelect after adi shakti only he was the person who had knowledge of all the 10 vidyas but he was a cruel person for a reason he wanted to die at the hands of Lord Vishnu ji to attain Moksh and did Mareechi who had taken the form of Golden Deer to lure Sita maiya to Ravan when she was in excile with her husband and devar for 14 years

DKDM they are showing Shiv Puran in their own version by twisting facts and none of them has shown any sexual connotation which is in the original Shiv Puran.

Like they didn't show how Shiv's ling got attached with Parvati ji's Yoni after the sages cursed shivji that it will fall off when they saw shiv luring their wives who got attracted to shiv ji when they saw him naked

obviously they can never show ssomething like that on television and I am grateful to them for it.

To complete the story when Shiv's ling after it broke and separated from shiv when it started falling and was about to touch the ground parvati ji ne use apni yoni me grehen kar liya dharan kar liya from that day onwords shiv ling with yoni started being worshiped like that

it also symbolized the procreation to save this world to increase the population so this story became the most important story and that is why we say that all humans who take birth are in debt of nature and they get out of it by producing their progeny both daughter and son are important and when daughter take birth they are incarnation of adi shakti therefore casue for a great celebration 😆 we have forgotton that and today we dont want daughters in this country 😭😭

Coming to story ,don't get mess up in all these interpretations .We don't know whats true and whats not. Even sometimes stories contradict with each other .like here gong by this story ,what role manthra and saraswati ma have .Keeping aside my story ,whats the truth ?? Whether she came in manthra's words and asked for those boons or saraswati ma had to come .Even these two stories can't come up together.😕😕

😆 😆 I guess even I am confused and has been ever since I started reading purans and many of these sacred stories the thing is each puran has it's own version of a particular story so there are many thoughts attached many sequence attached according to the god in question.
As for Saraswati mata I think it was either shivji or brahmaji who asked he to become kekai's vani and say these things so that Ram could go in exile and it was mandatory that Laxman go with him because laxmanji was incarnation of Anant Shesh nag whereever Vishnuji goes he goes and they both have to wipe out adharm and with Krrishnji he became Balram

Actually today youngsters reading about Santan dharm is a big complement for all of us that means there is still hope for us. You know not only in bharat but overseas as well people have started reading not just philosophy but stories as well 😃😃😃

I noticed a long time back there are several broken links in all purans that can never be joint togeter I guess because many people told their own version and since they were never ever recorded into a book some facts got lost and people attached their own myth production of their own minds 😕 but the EXISTENCE OF ALL THE SACRED TEXTS INTACT TOGETHER IS A MIRACLE IN ITSELF👏👏👏 HATS OFF TO OUR RISHI MUNIS DUE TO WHOM SANATAN DHARM IS STILL VERY MUCH EXISTING AND TODAY THE WORLD IS REJOICING AND FLOURISHING BECAUSE OF THEIR GOOD DEEDS AND GOOD THOUGHTS. Shivji always treat both devs and asurs equally regardless of their nature if that species has done good deed then he will always reward him with boon but punish as well

remember how many times he got bugged up with Indra dev and kamdev despite their being devta
and to Samrat bali king of asurs and ravan he became v happy with them and give boons whole hartedly

this shows that truth is established by destroying the negative and false and only due to false truth can be seen and understood

thus truth gain it's importance due to negative aspects therefore both are important

otherwise how will life go on how will anyone become old how will new things create and old destroyed

I remember from your words, By the way I have done sociology honours and besides International theories there was a full course on Indian Social Structures such as Caste System of India I got to learn many things and at that time i read and read and read I used to sit in the library after college and read many Indian books gathering knowledge about ancient India and mythology

there was a book Kindred Spiriit about kith and kins of several international societies their norms their institutions their relations their economic social statuses

but my interest got developed when in 2nd class I read about caste system that there were 4 castes and my nanaji had already told us about our jati kshatriya and khatri thats what we are

coming back to what you said that about morality and advent of Islam and greeks, yes that happened some 1200 yrs ago but look at today many of us are once again bringing what was old I dont know whether we will b succeful ortnot but two or even 1 yr back people were not interested but today day by day I talk to people esp through facebook my friends my known people they are being awake from their slumber 😃 so even a timy chingari in total darkness gain our attention so we should be hopeful

Like a year ago I joined facebook and i had no idea I thought only I was interested in Sanatan dharm puran etc but no many young college students would argue give information and discuss indian world philosophy kids who are in school who are in coleeges this has really surprised me a lot 👏😆

I don't think this is a fact. It's just a story from one of the many versions of Ramayana. Neither in Valmiki Ramayan nor Ramcharitmanas nor Adhyatma Ramayan does Ravan come to Sita's swayamvar.

The first time Ravan hears about Sita in the above versions is when Shurpanakha tells him about her following the nose cutting scene. In Valmiki Ramayan, it is not Shurpanakha but Akampan who tells him about Sita. But in both Valmiki and Tulsidas, Ravan never heard about Ram, Sita, or Lakshman before Aranya Kand.

I don't believe in the story that says that Ravan kidnapped Sita only to die at Ram aka Vishnu's hands, because of the curse that Jaya and Vijaya got from the Sanatkumaras. The curse said that they would be born three times on Earth as rakshasas who would hate and oppose Vishnu, and only when they died at his hands all three times would they return to Vaikunta.

Jaya was born as Hiranyakashipu, Ravana, and Sishupala. Vijaya was born as Hiranyaksha, Kumbhakarna, and Dantavaktra.

In all three incarnations, both Jaya and Vijaya did not know about their divine origins and opposed Vishnu. So the story that Ravana knew about his divine origins, and opposed Rama only to die at his hands, is totally false.

Both Valmiki Ramayana and Vishnu Purana have this story of Jaya and Vijaya's curse, so it's definitely true.
