I noticed Murugan getting ignored. But I chose to ignore that. Till there is a CV who actually has a grasp of the individual deities and what value they hold for different parts of India, can't help much. Anyway, even Shri Ganesh is shown as this cute little kid always in harms way !

They are confused how to utilize Karthik is what I feel but with Ganesh it comes more naturally. He is always there and does thing which makes him the crowd fav. Sorry nothing against the Gods whom we love just talking about the characterization in DKDM.

What is confusing.

You are absolutely right. That is why I said I am trying to ignore this myself. Clearly people who nit pick on these things are not the target audience.
