The odd thing is that they seem to have abandoned Dashanan suddenly. What happened to his plans to lug Mahadev, saparivaar, down to Lanka, along with Kaliash, remains a mystery.

What can I say but that I cannot thank you enough?

I am so pleased that Utkarsh liked my analysis of his Jalandhar so much; his compliment about it was most flattering, and it was so good of you to pass it on to me. For a writer, the characters he has developed are like his babies, and no parent can ever have enough of praise of his children!

Thanks too for the FB address of Utkarsh; I have a FB account but I have not been very active there, but I will monitor this page regularly now.

As for the origin of Kartikeya, I am glad that they stuck to the version in the Skandapurana..

As for DKDM, I am of two minds: I want to get hold of the DVDs at the earliest and see the old parts that I have missed, but on the other hand I do not want the serial to end at all!

So you are from God's own country. I have been to Tiruvananthapuram, Cochin, Mahe, and Sucheendram, but I have not yet sailed down the backwaters in a rice boat. These days, after my retirement from the Indian Foreign Service, I live in Pune in Maharashtra, 2-3 hours by road from Mumbai.

Nothing is actually wrong with this track only the direction has been lengthy and hasty. They have dragged some events for no reason or whatsover, Parvati parts are being dragged like anything and Jalandhar scenes are being given so long. Unncecessary Vrinda story has been introduced. The war is not working. We had so many hopes for Mhakaal avatar but they have poured water in it. Where was the mahakaal avatar?

These are not a problem. DKDM was also slow before, what the show lacks now is promotion. For jallu, we got only 3 promos till far which were not up to the mark. But I have hopes this ME will bring momentum and Jallu will be killed by Mahadev with Parvatisbparticipation as Adi Shakti. Then the rest 4 yogas will be shown with all might.

But did Mahadev not say that all the 8 padaavs of the ashtanga yoga had to be completed before Parvati could regain the powers of Adi Shakti?

@ shyamala di, mahadev has tym and again said tht only aftr completing all 8 stages Parvati will regain her memory and powers. Then only as Sakti she can assist Siva, which is logical as both are one.

So I was correct, and they will have to get the other 4 stages over as well before Jalandhar is defeated and merged back into Mahadev.

I have only one heartfelt wish before that happens - that Indra should get his comeuppance good and proper.

@ shyamala di.. It is clear tht unless all the 8 stages are complete she can't regain her consciousness, so b4 jallandhar bcums Siva from a Sivansh, Parvati has to remember her shakti

The track is completely fine...
Thing is that... now a days... the editor must have been changed..
it shows tracks in a shattered way.. 50 seconds of this .. then 50 seconds of that track... it changes the tracks in the episodes so fast.. like it shows parvati.. so it has to show it completely.. then only it should switch to jalandhar or vrinda or to anything else.. but it shows half of this and then that.. it really irritates.. it was not like this in the initials.

yday it was switching the tracks.. again and again and again.. it is really messy...i really hate it..

well I started watching DKDM regularly after Jalandhar track .. I didn't know his story n it is much interesting as it has flavour of epic tragedy .. just like Karna J is a tragic hero .. I am enjoying it .. don't know about others
