Saurabbh says, "Being a part of an epic is never easy and I have worked really hard on the character. Putting on that heavy attire, including all the jewellery and crown, is quite an experience! I loved the challenge and it has helped me immensely in growing as an actor."
Saurabbh has also bagged his first film, Black Money. "The filmmakers were particular about the look of my character and so, I had to work out a lot. I play a character called Kunal, who is addicted to drugs, and the film is about the ugly, brutal side of the fashion industry. I don't smoke or drink in real life, but had to do all that for this role!" he says.
Saurabbh, who decided to get into acting, says that he owes a lot to Barry John for his accomplishments. "He helped me to explore the actor in me," he says, and adds, "I also had a great time while I was a part of Fear Factor: KhatroKeKhiladiTorchaar 4 (he was TV actor SmitaBansal's partner). Doing all those crazy stunts in the show taught me to never get scared of anything in life."
Asked about life beyond the greasepaint, he says, "I am addicted to the gym and also a martial arts freak. Also, being a graduate in fine arts (specialization in sculptures), I am into painting, drawing, photography and sculptures. I love cricket and listening to soft, romantic songs."
