Mythos aren't just for us to gain spiritual/religious knowledge..well as far as im concerned,i watch it for entertainment as well(I know der r ppl who disagree,but this is my opinion only.I may be this insanely crazy person who gets entertained by mythos,but u know,what the hell.that's me .i love who i am 😎)
I hav been fascinated by indian mytho/history since i was a kid. 😆 Krishna/ramayan/mahabharat were so famous those days! I used to always annoy my dad asking me to tell stories on all possible gods/goddesses and kings 😆
I wanna see all those stories happening in front of my eyes(some alterations will be there.but still),so i watch a mytho show.Now this is entertainment itself rite?Watchin what you enjoy the most?A love story?Some action here n der?Some comedy here n der.DKDM.a mytho show,has it ol.
It has more interesting versions of ol those actually,arent u bored of seing two ppl hit each der wid mere punches n stuff? 😛 You get to see swords n kataars n wat not here. 😎
But its not like,i watch only mythos.So i dont think you can stereotype all mytho lovers as-ok so these ppl watch these this mytho show,so they are the 'only-mytho loving group.No no no.I watch a hell lotta shows in all genres,mostly english,but quite a few hindi as well.
But as of now,DKDM is among my favourite hindi shows.
I have my own set of reasons as to why i watch it,but i think for non-mytho enthusiasts(please strt watching DKDM,ur opinion might change)here are the things that might interest you- as to why i watch mythos.If i ask a non-mytho lover as to why he watches modern day shows,the answers he will give,will pretty much the same as what i give down below i guess.m pretty sure.So in that case,mythos are better na?😃
-You get to see the most gorgeous sets in mytho shows.(the palaces are sooo huge 😲)
-You get to see the most gorgeous clothes in mytho shows(believ me!Its true.gosh DKDM has shown us sooo many of dem.Oh and the jewellery 😍)
*In modern day shows,i find it ridiculous when i see ppl loading themselves iwth kilos n kilos of jewellery,costumes n oh the make up!If you watch a show to see all that,i suggest you watch a mytho,it atleast MAKES SENSE if you were all those heavy jewellery here.Bcoz bk then,women did where dem.
-Oh and yes,this one might interest you- You get too see good looking men and women (mohit sonarika mouni all are what you would call "eye pleasing personalities" 😃 mohit infact the rest of the cast of DKDM is also pretty good looking huh.Sati's sisters for example.)
I dont rely on just good looks though, im just saying this bcoz these days ppl rely on JUST THIS a lot.In DKDM,along with the looks,the people can actually act!Unline many oder modern shows,where they've surely casted soem good luking guy,but come on he doesnt know A of acting!
-You get to see the most romantic stories ever(there is a reason why these stories are epics.Believ me,many might think that there is no way it can be more romantic than a modern day show,but hell no.Its wayyy more romantic.Infact all my fav jodis hav been frm mytho/history related shows.Ask the DKDM fans how the shiv-sati track was ☺️ and now the shiv-parvati one ☺️ ☺️ *me double blushing* )
Currently,I do watch a few modern day shows,i have some favs der too. 😳 But DKDM has a soft corner so it always leads the race 😎
For me the romance n the stories i've heard n loved are being enacted on tv-that's why i watch it.Simple as that.
P.S : Ok so i typed a really long post n im half sleepy.Sorry if something sounded dis-respectful.Not intended to hurt anybody's feelings.I respect all.It was purely unintentional if at all something hurtful has been said in the post.
