Its true mahadev loved sati and parvati equally. but when sati died adishakti left her body then why mahadev wer in pain and why he roamed with satis body and do u remember those conversation they showed between shiva and his soul before satis death indicated dat mahadev cared 4 sati as a human and not as adishakti.

Sati as a human didn't have powers to proect her from the Asuras. So Shivji came all the times to save her. That's why this impression of him caring more for Sati comes. Parvati was capable of protecting herself since she was born.

Oh well, I think that Mahadev loved Sati sooo much that when she died he couldn't handle himself, but when she reincarnates Parvati, he didn't wanted to feel the same like before if same thing happened to Parvati so he didn't loved her that much as he did to Sati.

In Dp it is given, when Parvati was 2 to 3 days old, Himavan was looking at her, she gave him Divya-drashti, to show who she is. Himavan asked her, how should be my behaviour towards you? What she answered is given in DP & DB as Devi-Geeta or Bhagavati-Geeta. Which is the knowledge of her qualities, importance, forms, Dash-Mahavidyas etc. Then she she takes the Divya-drashti back & starts behaving like a normal baby. This proves she was Aadya Shakti's purna-avatar. Her different forms appears as per the need, it's wrong to say she could menifest in Durga or Kali form only after her penance.

Regarding Ravan's story, many times due to Shivji's boon many Gods are not able to do much. that's the case about other God's boon too. Aadi Shakti was instrumental in Ravan's end, as he had insulted one of her form Sita.

Ok, to settle this once and for all. Sati is Parvati and Parvati is Sati.
Both of them are a form of Adishakti, the supreme energy of the universe. Adishakti is the divine consort of Shiva, but since she is "energy" and he is "atman," they can only be joined when they are incarnated as Shiva and Devi. So how can you even say that Shivji loved one incarnation of Adishakti over the other? They are both one and the same!

And as per your so called "chemistry," let me inform you that there are beautiful kathas of Shiv and Parvati which are just as manmohak as those of Sati and Shiv. And please don't refer to the love of Shiv and Shakti as chemistry. I find that to be a bit derogatory as that word is most often used to refer to soap opera jodis.

I hope I didn't hurt anyone's sentiments as I said this.
