bade navratra shuru ho gaye hai, to kyu na hum log devi ke 9 roopo ki aradhana kare or unke baare me jaane

aaj navratri ka 2 day hai, is din brahmcharini ki puja ki jaati hai

The third facet of Goddess Durga is 'Chandraghanta', who is worshipped on the third day ofNavaratri, for peace, tranquility and prosperity in life. She has a 'chandra' or half moon in her forehead in the shape of a 'ghanta' or bell. That is why she is called 'Chandraghanta'. She is charming, has a golden bright complexion and rides a lion. She has ten hands, three eyes and holds weapons in her hands. She is the apostle of bravery and possesses great strength to fight in the battle against demons.

@ Sweet24:Hey as long as i have known in the month Of march comes small Navratri & in Oct Bade NAvratri...so how do u consider this as Big Navratri. Coz in south no one even knows that NAvratri is going on ...

ye dono manaye jaate hai,jaha tak mene suna hai ki bade navratra abhi jo chal rahe hai usse kehte hai, or chote navratro jo dashera ke phele aate hai usse kehte hai. aisa kaha gaya hai ki ye 9 days shree ramji ne upas kiya tha or devi ki aradhana ki thi or 9 day unhe durgaji ne darshan diye the, or 10 day unhone raavan ko maara tha.
