Crazy Creative Team is organizing Halloween "Haunted Treasure Hunt" game.

This thread is to sign up for the game and form a DEK team

Wanna play the game... then Join the team!!

Have to finalize a team and pm crazy creative teams with the details.

Friends the Crazy Creatives have planned a

GLOBAL TREASURE HUNT for all of you, during Halloween!

But WAIT...

You will get to

TEAM UP WITH YOUR FORUM MEMBERS !

And get to go TRICK OR TREAT through out IF !!!

NOTE: This is a funfilled game so let us all join hands together!

Uh Oh, I bet I have confused everyone! Alright here is the STEP BY STEP explanation!

Basically each Forum will get to make a Haunted House Thread for Halloween by October 26th, 2012! A particular member can ONLY BE PART of One Forum! The Crazy Creatives will then present a treasure (a piece of a puzzle) based on the completion of the thread and the particular forum team will have to hide the treasure within their forum and come up with three clues by the 27th of October, 2012. Starting October 28th till the 31st, all the participating forum teams will have to go around each other's haunted house "trick or treating" for the clues to find the treasure in the respective forums. Once you find all the treasures associated with each of the haunted houses (depending on the number of participating forums), you have to put the pieces together and send the answer (as to what the whole picture symbolizes) to crazycreative account.

Here is a summary!

Once you read this thread 😆, contact fellow members from ONE PARTICULAR FORUM OF YOUR INTEREST! After forming a team, PM the crazycreative account with your Team Name and Forum, as well as all the members' names.

NOTE: A member can ONLY be a part of ONE FORUM!

OPEN A WORKING THREAD in your Forum! Start working on a haunted house themed thread and decorate it accordingly. Post the FINAL THREAD in your team's FORUM by OCTOBER 26th, 2012.

NOTE: You just need to open a halloween HAUNTED HOUSE THEMED thread welcoming fellow members of IF for Trick or Treat! You DO NOT need to organize any games/ contests on this particular thread.

PM your final thread link to the crazycreative account! Once received, the CC Team will send you ONE SMALL PIECE OF A PUZZLE. This will be your TREASURE!

Find a thread that is fairly recent and hide the treasure in one of the posts IN YOUR FORUM. Then come up with THREE sequential clues! For example, 1st Clue: Generic Topic of the thread, 2nd Clue: Specific Topic/ Subject; Third Clue: Post Maker, etc.

NOTE: Please avoid any detailed oriented threads! You want those who do not watch the show to find the clues as well.

Send all your clues (written in words) and where you've hidden your treasure (link of the particular post) to the crazycreative account for verification by the 27th of October, 2012.

From October 28th to 31st, all the participating team will get to go on a "trick or treating" treasure hunt. In other words, you will get to VISIT all of the other HAUNTED HOUSES around IF (PARTICIPATING FORUMS' threads, which you will get the links for through the CC GA Thread) and trick or treat for clues 😛. Each clues WILL BE GIVEN ONE AT A TIME. You have to identify the content (topic/ thread/ subject) presented by the clue before you can get the next clue.

NOTE: More instructions will be provided as we near the hunt!

Once you locate all the treasures, put the small pieces together to identify the bigger picture. Once you've identified the answer, PM the answer to crazycreative account by the 31st of October, 2012.

Hi hun,

you guys are progressing well ⭐️! Once you guys have a certain number of people, you can begin working on a welcome thread, where you could post some funfilled, scary halloween contents.. food items (scary style 😆) and welcome fellow IFians to your haunted mansion. we will shortly be posting a sample welcome thread tomorrow, with a set guideline..

These are some suggestions given by Mahi (mahi0809) Plz take a look at them
I have some suggestion to make guys. Plz take it in good spirits. I've participated before in a whole I-F wide competition before, and though it seems easy, it can be tough if your team mates are a bum or do things last minute... so which ever team members you guys choose:

1. Plz make sure they are active ones and can easily be contacted and replied back to... and you don't have to wait days for them to get back to you. Whichever team members you take, should be the reliable ones...

2. There should be a system of checks and balances too... by this I mean that people need to give feedback of what they are doing, or what they have accomplished already to other team members so everyone's on the same page and know that people are doing some work and not doing things just at the last moment. People need to give details of which forum they visited, what they did etc.

3. Every team member should get equal burden of topics to search for. So no quarrels, no fights. We should also have like a monitor or a team leader who acts like a supervisor/ the go to person/ Help Desk if any member encounters any problem while completing the task.

4. Since there are an allowance of unlimited members it might be very hard for the team leader to keep tabs on each and every one of them properly so team members could also use buddy system. Then one of the buddies could inform the team leader of the progress they are making or if any problems they are facing.

For example 2 or 3 members combine and decide that okay I'll takes posts from pages 1-8, 2nd member could take from 9-16... and with buddy system if one member is unable to complete the entire designated number of pages due to any urgency or busy schedule than the back up buddy partner of that member can take over. Only rule should be that this shouldn't be dumped last minute on the buddy partner but should be informed in advance that I'm unable to meet my demands due to XXX purpose and plzz do the remaining left over work.

If you guyz have any suggestions as well... feel free to share them... Suggestions are always welcome😊
