Agree with you vanshika,IF writers are more biased to star plus/one shows. i actually wonder the shows like geet and PKYEK are still popular , but actually those shows are not of substance(don't get me wrong because i also love those shows, thing is that shows have common love story concept, nothing so new othr than a twisted plot).
But DEK is the best show i have ever watch(excluding majnu jap). It has a substance and message in it. ALL actors just perfectly fits in their roles. SHOW has potential, a huge potential. Different and unique plot, excellent character portrayal (excluding chawl company), amazing unpredictable but twisted script , every thing is there. This show should be at top because its just not a love story, its a story of growing up of a person from immature, carefree chawl girl to a selfless, responsible and dignified queen. We can easily relate this from our life as every one of us has to grow up some day by realizing our responsibility towards our elders expectations.

other than IF writers, cvs are also at fault because due to there overly extended and continuos majnu jap for a month. This majnu character was not only irritating but also spoils beauty of other characters and hard work of actors including lead couple.Butchering of manyata's character to such a extent that audience was unable to connect to connect with her. Trying portraying UV into negative light knowing that fans would never be able to tolerate.
Initially all characters are grey and we do enjoy grey characters a lot . The best thing is that manyata's character is also grey rather than goody two shoes type.
But in this princess story majnu's character has done such a major damage to the original plot and story line that Loyal viewers lost their interest.
Other thing is lack of promotion by channel and cvs. promotion plays a key role in success of the show. but it seems to be that they are writing scripts on daily basis. regular promo and sbs/sbb coverage is needed to increase trps so that they can gain there lost viewers.
Hope fully cvs are on right track now, so i have lots of expectations from this show. from gods grace trps are also increasing during IPL ,this shows potential of this show.
cvs should maintain this balance b/w love story and princess story. Its fantasy and political theme makes it more interesting and different, so easily can gain lots of audience so cvs should executed their tracks properly. when show was majnu centered it was falling down the hill, when it comes to its original track it starts taking back its top position.
this show if proceeded properly , is better show than those hundred of shows running on other channels in same time slot.
