Guys... i think before changing her cloths ...she should change her thought, mind set...should educate first...without this ...just changing cloths n putting make up doent matter...

Wat do u think guys...

I actually think that the costume department has put in a lot of time and thought into the styling of each character.

Uday is trendy, flamboyant, stylish and totally unique, nothing in the ordinary style will do for him. He is open as a book, there are no frills to him and no hidden layers. Very in your face and very unique.

Unnati on the other hand is totally closed. She doesn't share what is in her heart or mind, She's learned early to present a composed face to society. She goes for closed neck, full sleeved, breeches/trousers - something that allows her freedom of movement.

J is modern but like any other yuppie girl, she doesn't stand out in a host of society girls.

Vijay is conservative but modern, again he doesn't force himself on you, but melts into the background, despite that he has his own presence and style. His jackets are what always fascinate me, as though there is another layer to him and dis personality from what shows out on the face. His shoes, his scarves *when he wears them) they all scream quality to me.

Menaka is independent and somewhat tired of toeing the line but still unable to break free. Her rebellion goes only so far as discarding the sari for the more comfortable salwar suit. Yet they are expensive, well tailored and bold colors.

Rajmata on the other hand has this amazing wardrobe of those lace sarees. Each and every sari is unique and some of the laces on those sarees are not available in the Indian Market at least.

What I find a disappointment more than Manyata is Komal and Brij - while the rest of the cast has a distinct identity and style, these two are dressed like mannequins. There's nothing to separate Komal from any other serial mom - what with her bridal sarees and the heavy armour of copper wire, and Brij with those bullet proof padded achkans. They are enough to make anyone scream.

The worst dressed however has to be Giriraj - I mean what is with those bold checked shirts under formal jackets and all so clashing.

Yet minor grievances apart I really love the styling of the show.

Completely agree! And there's the point that their clothes are recycled every other day. Like, I understand that there might be certain budget restrictions or other problems but it would be nice to see some changes every once in a while.
