Costumes In the Show

Is it just me or does anyone else find the some of the clothes the characters are wearing a bit weird.

Exhibit A: Udayveer : Granted he looks hot in anything but of some his jackets/shirts are a bit over the top. But as he is Udayveer... he still manages to pull it off.

Exhibit B: Manyata : Ok this girl needs a wardrobe change and quick. Whats up with her kurtas.. they are tight and oh so unflattering for her. And why are they single colored when her pajamas are multi toned.

Exhibit C: Jainandini : This girl has a good physique so all the mini's and dresses seem fine on her. But does she never wear anything comfortable? Maybe its a princess thing (and hence i wouldn't know).

Exhibit D: Unati: She looks good in her jodpurs but seems suited for a polo match everyday.

Exhibit E: Rest of Family: They look fine if you disregard always being dressed up but then they are raj gharana ..

yes they want to show a huge difference in Manyata now and when her makeover happens, hope they show her new avatar in 100th episode!

As of Manyata, she's a chawl girl as of now ... she has no sense of fashion ... and the CVs want to make her look as plain and unatractive to give us a shocking new princess look of her ...agreed her suits are terrible but what can we expect to come from a chawl?

I actually love Jay's wardrobe ... It's soo elegant ... all those dresses are soo beautiful ... agreeing with you on the fact that she's always dressed soo formally ... but I'm sure that she does dress casually at times, but we only get to see the scenes of her where she's not casual...but we did see some scenes like the yoga scene where she was dress casually.

Unati dresses up in herem pants ... etc. I think it is all to give her a modern sober look ... Agreeing with you ... it'll be nice seeing her in something different for a change.

I too like Jay's wardrobe and she does look good in them! and i totally missed the yoga scene so didnt know about that.. thanks :)
I haven't that much of an issue with Uday's outfit as he can still carry them off. But occasionally they are a bit outlandish and could do with little editing.
But Manyata.. I am sure people in the chawl have common sense and they do wear decent clothes even if its not Gucci or DG. And its not like they had no money. Her foster dad used to buy premium grocery .. I am sure he could have afforded a little more fabric :) .

Yup I agree with you. People who are not in rolling in money too dress nicely as they like everyone else take have pride in what they wear.

For the transformation I agree that CV's want to show a great change but I think that can be possible with just give Manyata decent clothes which fit her too!

i love Uday's style of clothing..talking about Manyata, i suppose we will like her clothes once her makeover is done..😊
