Even I felt that she was super rude of DS BUT I thought it was justified. Since I personally tend to be rude with my elders, I don't see any fault in Manyata doing so. It's human nature. She was always like this and it won't be changing after just one letter of apology.

question is TRUST. I might be angry with them but that doesnot mean i wont trust them, or listen to them, or see their POV... Would u not give ur Parents a chance to explain themselves?
