...Btw, great insight about the UV/Akash generalisations. I think when he was in the lockup, it wasn't Akash the lover, it was Akash the middle-class man who was being denied his rights by the Royals. I think that's why he is on a trip. He is embodying the persona of the common man's "hero" that the media is portraying him as. It's funny really but it takes alot of practice to handle power... something Akash is just getting a taste of now.
"Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."I think what gives Akash all that arrogance in that scene is that fact that he has that one thing, the only thing, that M has promised Akash he'll always have. The one thing which UV craves and won't get.Not to mention, it was M who has time and again given Akash the confidence that he has a number of qualities that UV will never have. That sadly both M and Akash don't realise is that if they just looked past the sheen of wealth and power, UV seems to embody those very qualities to the T.Akash didn't show any concern for M in front of UV because he didnt wanna expose his weakness, i think. He wanted to come across as an able opponent. He didnt want to cave in.I think no one accuses Akash of embodying alot of UV's traits is because he is just now tapping into them, discovering them, showing them. Give Akash sometime to fully realise them, to realise he has started to change....

WOW, I simply LOVED your response. LOVED LOVED LOVED! Please do us a favour and post this in topic itself. I've quoted what stood out to me the most and resonated with me...because it's soo bloody accurate. It isn't about arrogance...It's about POWER. And You're right...with the simple knowledge or assumption that Manyata will be with him instead of UV...Akash has POWER. He has the upper hand over UV...and for the first time in his life he is expereincing it...there are bound to be side effects. Love the point you made about him having this on the exterior to be a level opponent- at least in persona- with UV...and perhaps it is just an external shell. I personally don't mind the change- but I was confused by its sudden occurance. Also, the fact that it doesnt come off as powerfull due to the fact that his intial charecter was the exact opposite. Fabulous analysis👏

Hey Reeha :)[DIV]Exactly what i was thinking. Akash has suddenly turned into somebody else. Its so fishy.[/DIV][DIV]As far as i remember he was sweet and the 'passive' lover in the MonAsh stroy. Him, suddenly behaving soo possesive and trying to give an eerie and somewhat psychotic feel to his character just doesnt look convincing at all. Its either a poor script or the actor seriously is bored of his role in this show[:[][/DIV]
