Hi there, I'm new here and I've been reading up updates and many posts on this forum since the show has taken this interesting turn.
I've been watching this show since the start and I really wanted to say how I loved reading the way you've shown the changes in their character.

What started off with UV as a stocktype evil prince and Akash as the sweet lover has slowly started to include many more angles. I'm glad that they've started to show UV's soft side, the way he cares for his sister and fiance who betrayed him and the overwhelming respect he has for DS.

I guess with Akash only time can tell if he will continue going down this arrogant path. For all you know, as Muniya decides to step and be more of a princess, it might bring in a greater distance in their relationship when he realises they're classes apart. Maybe it might be the striking blow that would convince him they're not meant to be?

Sorry for my long rambling here but truly loved your character analysis that compelled me to write and really interested to see how this UV-Akash battle plays out:)

Hey Reeha :)
Exactly what i was thinking. Akash has suddenly turned into somebody else. Its so fishy.
As far as i remember he was sweet and the 'passive' lover in the MonAsh stroy. Him, suddenly behaving soo possesive and trying to give an eerie and somewhat psychotic feel to his character just doesnt look convincing at all. Its either a poor script or the actor seriously is bored of his role in this show🤔

hey dear!
you analyzed Akash's character very well...
i agree what you have stated in your points...
now keeping aside the fact that i am a die heart Manveerian as a general viewer i feel that...
Akash, the sweet, down to earth, sensible person is no where to be seen at the moment.
His trespassing in palace and being caught in Manyata's room can be considered as immature action or a action taken blindly in love..
for a moment, his yelling ILU and all other can be considered justified as he had always considered royal faimly that they are tending to hurt Manyata..he has always picturised them as cruel people making life of his lover hell...
but from last two days, the way he is behaving its all unnatural to his persona.. its ok to be confident but right now he seems to be over confident about the situation..
may be its because the support he is getting from the public and press..its first time that he is getting so much power as support..and sometimes you can't handle the taste of so much power properly...specially when you get that in a very worst situation so unexpectedly...
he might be thinking that as everyone is supporting him..so he is totally right..that is why right now he is not even thinking about Manyata's honour damage and her difficult situations which she is facing right now because of all this scenario of public protest..

So in short it may be a very poor attempt of CV's to prove him THE HERO fighting against all odds for his love (and if this is truth, then they have so miserebly failed)
or CV's are just giving his character a new horizon where they are showing his character's dark sides which no one knows...

Hey,Reeha, nyc post,i mean that seems like there has been a role-reversal here...Akash has become more sarcastic n icy cold n Udaybeer has become more warm...so unlike both the characters,i guess the situation that these three characters are in,i.e.,Manyata,Udaybeer n Akash ,is causing these three to react contradictory to their actual natures...i mean Manyata...is feeling guilty...thats absolutely ok...but Udaybeer...he is starting to feel n emote...which he never does...nowadays we r able to figure out how he feels unlike before...n Akash...he has this awful "VICTORY"smile on his face like he is saying,"Main bahut bada top hoon, main hero hoon n meri jagah koi nahi le sakta"...mujhe lagta hai ki jail ja kar Akash ke akal par taale par gaye hain...DEFINITELY...

I think when he was in the lockup, it wasn't Akash the lover, it was Akash the middle-class man who was being denied his rights by the Royals. I think that's why he is on a trip. He is embodying the persona of the common man's "hero" that the media is portraying him as. It's funny really but it takes alot of practice to handle power... something Akash is just getting a taste of now.

"Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."

I think what gives Akash all that arrogance in that scene is that fact that he has that one thing, the only thing, that M has promised Akash he'll always have. The one thing which UV craves and won't get.

Not to mention, it was M who has time and again given Akash the confidence that he has a number of qualities that UV will never have. That sadly both M and Akash don't realise is that if they just looked past the sheen of wealth and power, UV seems to embody those very qualities to the T.

Akash didn't show any concern for M in front of UV because he didnt wanna expose his weakness, i think. He wanted to come across as an able opponent. He didnt want to cave in.

I think no one accuses Akash of embodying alot of UV's traits is because he is just now tapping into them, discovering them, showing them. Give Akash sometime to fully realise them, to realise he has started to change.

...

WOW, I simply LOVED your response. LOVED LOVED LOVED! Please do us a favour and post this in topic itself. I've quoted what stood out to me the most and resonated with me...because it's soo bloody accurate. It isn't about arrogance...It's about POWER. And You're right...with the simple knowledge or assumption that Manyata will be with him instead of UV...Akash has POWER. He has the upper hand over UV...and for the first time in his life he is expereincing it...there are bound to be side effects. Love the point you made about him having this on the exterior to be a level opponent- at least in persona- with UV...and perhaps it is just an external shell. I personally don't mind the change- but I was confused by its sudden occurance. Also, the fact that it doesnt come off as powerfull due to the fact that his intial charecter was the exact opposite. Fabulous analysis👏

The last week was really shocking

Suddenly, UV has become too sweet after falling in love...Now Taking care of Manyata whole night without sleeping...this guy is reallyyy falling deep into love...

And I think he will get hurt eventually...*I just wished they had shown the whole night episode***UV watching Manyata and we viewers watching both of them...Amazing.

Rest Akash never liked him but yeah he had suddenly changed and became quite irritating...

I think the CV's r trying to slowly backtrack Akash and bring UV to more limelight...They must have realised what we actually want. 😃

Well said reeha..

Akash's character comes across as comical because most of his actions are contradictory to what he believes or to the characterization he has been given.. What I found strange was his lack of compassion for M's family repeatedly he says he will come back for her not once did he apologize or accept his mistake his behavior has ruined not only the women he claims to love's but her families reputation as well.. and the worst line for me has to be this is the public and they know it all... what is he referring to because he's poor and has M's love he can get away with anything.. he pretty much implied that all rich individuals were tactless and had no respect for others.. Yet we have the UV being taunted for his lack of feelings standing up for the women who stabbed him in the back.. They seem to be enveloping each others characteristics you are absolutely correct Akash is being portrayed with darker shades while UV is calming down although he is still an enigma..

I keep saying this again and again. The cvs are listening to us - the viewers and are probably changing things in the show. The gradual change in both uday's character and akash's character leads me to believe they are changing places in Manyeta's life where uday will now be the hero and Akash the villain:)
