Hey everyone😳

Ive been reading a lot of posts where everyone has been talking about their dislike for Akash and then go on to add, that their dislike had nothing to do with Abhishek the actor, but simply because they do not like Akash's character.

So I started thinking about why I could not get myself to sympathise with Akash. I mean, he's a nice guy, does 'romantic' things for the girl he loves, makes her smile...all the things we want and love in our heroes. So why was I not rooting for this couple and their forbidden love? Why did I just want to turn the channel over everytime I saw Akash and Manyata romancing? Why did I groan in agony every time one of my favourite songs was played on that couple knowing that it was ruined forever?

And if I'm honest, it is because of Abhishek who plays the role of Akash. Dont get me wrong. Abhishek is a good actor who was great in his role in Agle Janam where he walked away with the audiences sympathy, but here as Akash he is horribly miscast. He just does not fit the role of the young and vulnerable Akash who pines for his princess who belongs to another world.

I was watching DEK the other day and my husband walked in, who has never seen the show and constantly wonders why I ever watch any indian soaps.😆 Anyway, Akash was on the screen and I asked him how old he thought he was. He looked at me and said '40' 😕

I think that about sums it all. Abhishek just does not look or act the part of a young lover and this is where the CV's casting has gone terribly wrong. Perhaps another actor may have evoked more sympathy from the audience and perhaps the CV's would not be getting the backlash that they are right now with Akash. Maybe the only way they can fix this, is if the CV's replace Abhishek with another actor who fits the character of Akash better, if they are insisting on going the triangle route.

Or perhaps they are too late. Uday's character is so strong and has been appreciated and loved by the audiences so much, that now perhaps whatever damage control the CV's might try and do, is too little too late.

Or perhaps I'm wrong and it is Akash the character that people dont like, regardless of who plays the role.

But whatever the case, I feel Akash is going to be here a long time so I will do what I always do when he comes onscreen...change the channel. Sorry CV's!

im not sure yet . the character is extremely boring and non exciting .

but if someone else had played akash ... hmm...i think i still wouldnt hav liked the character .

I have never given much thought to the casting of Akash.I have not see Agle Janam, so I can not judge Abhishek Rawat's acting fairly, so no comments on that... But since a lot of people say that Abhishek Rawat is a very fine actor, I'd like to support their opinions. So, it is Akash that i don't like, not Abhishek as Akash.

Plus, Udaybeer's character is so interesting and Ashish Kapoor's portraying him so powerfully that anyone trying to compete with him falls flat in my view... 😍For me the thing is that Uday is the hero, anyone standing in his way irritates me. Right now, Akash is standing in his way, so I hate Akash.

I have nothing against the Actor because I do not know him beyond what I have seen of him as Akash.

so for me it's Akash the character that I cannot stand not the Actor playing him.

he is just too boring to watch.

Maybe the only way they can fix this, is if the CV's replace Abhishek with another actor who fits the character of Akash better, if they are insisting on going the triangle route.

seriously yeah Replacing hih is not gonna change anything now cos it's way too late for that Udayveer has and still winning people's hearts.

new actor as Akash or not the character of Akash is just never gonna get the love and welcoming from the veiwers not in the show or at least surly not from me.

Compared to Uday, Akash is pretty boring and unexciting.

Akash really is boring to watch and his scenes with Manyata are so ineffective.
