Abt UV raising his hand- ok this is completely my POV, plz feel free to disagree everyone- When a guy(like UV) sees another guy hiding in the closet of ur to-be wife and then claiming his love in front of grl's family, he just had to go to the extreme becoz UV just telling the guards to throw Majnu out wud hav been odd. He's a Rajwaada and the guy was proclaiming his love for his fiance in front of the grl's family so I think dat drove him more, plus we do knw how hurt he was and he was emotionally involved! And my God, the last glare he threw at M!

Totally loved ur line
He , simmering , seething at Aakash's taunting jibe that how will UV make Maanyata love UV , shook him. That was the only time , UV looked lost and vulnerable but the Rajwaada blood didn't let him break.

As for Akash I thought he was putting M's reputation and reputation of their so called love by pulling off the dare devilry, so I find very hard to sympathize.

Gotta salute DS for the calmness and her answer to Akash as Akash tried the emotional talk with her.
BTW, I gotta say Uday's punches and dialogues had more Junoon than MonAsh Laila-Majnu scene.
Another thing, I hav marked that there is always planning or plotting going on against Manyaata and UV- every character just revolves around those.
PS: PinkChocolate, really thought dat u were gonna quote Vijay bhai's lines here, the sayonara was too funny🤣

Thank you so much, sweetz. Hmm, i cannot say that i disagree with your POV on UV hitting Aakash but still, i don't want UV repeating any of this again in future. He is grey and hitting people is just not him.
I agree that UV's passionate anger had more flesh than the dukhi low story. Maybe because the actor is so terrific and the character is so strong. Arre, i just couldn't register the humour today but i loved Vijay Bhai like always. 😆

As soon as you say the word "Izzat" it summed everything up.

EVERYTHING.
It doesnt matter if you're a girl from a Chawl, a lower or upper middle class family, and yes, even a royal: Izzat- meaning RESPECT, is the most PRICELESS thing a family holds onto through their daughters.
Yes, it sounds cliched and perhaps holds a slight double standard: BUT it is a REALITY. Regardless of Money, status, power and language, or location: Any Indian will quote this as being a FACT.
It is simply the reality of our culture: Ones daughter is like a badge of honor, and can easily bring the family to shame- example, the instance today with Akash in her room.
Even in my family, where we've been born and raised in a "western" nation, these values hold TRUE for us as well. There is this EXPECTATION, UNDERSTANDING, and simple RESPECT that these boundaries must be maintained and followed.
Thank you so much for pointing out this reality: A Family's Izzat through their daughter is BEYOND many factors- it is simple, timeless and universal.
If only Manyata could have understood that. It's a shame that even through her apparent travels and vast expereince through India, she failed to see this simple principle which is as old as this nation. I don't know if it's a fallacy, or that puppy love simply causes one to lose common sense and respectability.
"Respect for one's parents is the highest duty of civil life."

Poco, awesome analysis👏 You wrote exactly what I felt today while watching the episode. I really sympathise with the royal family, how disgraced they might have felt upon finding a man hidden inside the cupboard of their daughter, that too, in front of their prospective son-in-law!! I agree that what Uday did today was totally not in sync with his character, but what was he supposed to do after finding a strange man in the cupboard of his would-be wife? Uday was terribly hurt, and as you said, in his darkest worst... But the look he gave to DS and Brijraj explained it all... Honestly, I didn't feel bad for Manyata and Akaash. Manyata SHOULD realise this that whatever be the case, she cannot stake her family's pride and prestige like this. Now no one in the family can put his or her trust on Manyata ever again. And I never had any sympathy for Akash. As DS said, he is the main obstacle in the transformation of Monia to Manyata.

A fully power-packed episode, good start to the week indeed!👍🏼

and UV, well he was frustrated and had to remove it somehow
he vented all his anger and frustration on aakash
i guess if anyone being in his place would have done the very same or probably broken his legs or so...i mean come on! who would tolerate seeing his fiancee with another man in a room😡
and DS handled the situation very smartly even though she probably was the most hurt as she trusted manyata the most
and really glad to see the dominating side of DS, she needs to be strict with manyata or else she will just escape out of her hands
i'm just so glad UV punched the life out of that aakash, so wanted him out of the picture for a while
and his "I LOVE YOU MONIYA" seemed so fake and forced😆
but overall the reaction of the royal family was just and right, and they reacted like any other normal family would

A wonderful post! loved the way you've supported the family's reaction on finding aakash in manyata's room 😊

love
Navpreet

Thank you. Well said. See , i may not support UV's hitting Aakash but i understand where he was coming from and the same goes for the family. Their reactions were like any normal relative's reaction would be. Maanyata is no injured party of we look at what she had been upto for 2 weeks.

Perfectly written I agree with your each and every word, 👏. I did not feel bad for Moniya nor Aakash. I felt bad for the royal family (except for J and Vijay) and UV the way their trust was broken to bits.

DS was right Moniya is still young and does not understand anything, so she is not ready to take decisions for herself. What she said to Aakash was correct also, they have waited for her to return for so long, now finally she has instead of helping her accept her life he is taking her back to her old life. They are royals not ordinary rich people. Their ways are different and so are the responsibilities.

Aakash love is selfish he does not want Moniya to become her true self. He knows if Moniya becomes Manayata he has no chance with her. Moniya is an ordinary girl while Manyata is a Rajkumari with responsibilities towards her kingdom. She will do what is best for her kingdom.

Moniya needs to learn that izzat is important, you can not be selfish. I just do not know about this girl.

UV was in cold rage and for the 1st time he lost his cool, because of what Moniya did to him and he took it out on that person because of whom she played with him and lead him on.

clinching the deal with your rationale on 'Love'👍🏼 A perfect dissection of today's powerpacked episode and wickedness that prevailed all along. In a state of morbidity🤢 from the past two weeks that iam in because of the events happening every now and then in the show, I had been badly contaminated by the retardedness of the characters. Today's episode did seem like poetic justice and I enjoyed Manyata's gatt😆 (that's in punjabi i hope u get that word 😆) lol..!

the most enjoyable and the antic scene today has to be the one where Akash was "BARAAMAD" 😆 R.O.F.L ..Ive never seen beparda scenes happening too fast in any of the Indian serials so damn fast😲 but anyway i loved it to the core 😃

uh... the royalty, the izzat and the unchee nak...eww!
Royal females romance and (nearly) kiss another royal while with thier fiance(J, UV and J's single episode fiance)... royal females come back home late night drunk... oh and not to mention would be brothers-in-laws and sister's in laws flirt away to glory under the nose and in front of the eyes of papparazzi...
my family yes would have been agast at such a discovery, but the royals have seen better(or worse) and should not have felt this is odd...me thinks.
On the whole they behaved very unroyally...Would have been better to have given a cold shoulder treatment to Akash... shown him the door with some royal threats and slowly killed his spirit in the background... transfer to other places... demotion... taking away the job...etc! Meanwhile, they could have worked harder on Manyata, emotionally blackmailing her... ! Now that would have been royaaall!
UV, has tasted defeat the first time so his reaction was predictable and that's what disappointed me! I wanted him to react differently... how will he win Manyata over? No chance now, knowing how Manyata reacts to unquestioned authority.
Remember she fought with Murari too when he asked her not to meet Akash. He had to blackmail her into making a choice. the royals don't even have that edge. Monia does not love them enough to sacrifice Akash's...(so called) love🤢 for them!
let me see how my beloved DS and UV redeem themselves. Heck forget Manyata... please do that for me you both.
I love ur writing pink...
Also you made no mention of Vijay Bhai today... even though I love his one-liners, I disliked his statements today... did you also find his humour horrible today?

i totally agree with you Pinks yaar yeh DS is the most inteeligent character love her i agree totally with the dialog that Akaash is bringing Manyata to her Past instead if Akaash Truly cared for Manyata he would have try to make Manyata a Princess and will tell her to obey your family and respect them instead he use to do non of them ... i agreee if mere ghar pe agar mere kamre mei se koi ladka nikalta toh uske saath sath hamari bhi dhulai karte yaar ...

She not only betrayed UV, but also backstabbed her family.. I think the whole 'akash comes her home' track was introduced only to reveal manyata's lies.. She has lost the trust of her family..

But i don't get one thing.. Are the cv's trying to show UV and her family as some obstacles, as villains in manyata's eyes?

Thank you so much. Its not that am justifying what the royals and UV did - but i want to understand where they were coming from today. Maanyata needs to grow up, to evolve and understand that life is not a comic book . It brings responsibility and maturity. I don't know what CVs are trying to show but in NORMAL SENSE, the royals and UV would be torch bearers of Maanyata's future as a princess and the future queen.😊

Poco i totally mirror ur thoughts...absolutely agree
loveddd it always how u deeply describe each part of the episode.

at moment i only feel sad for royal family they waited for M for 16 years what today they got in return was ashame...whether M consider UV her fiance or not but family consider him as would be son-in-law its shame for them specially infront of him...
itself is ashame when family finds out unknown boy hidden is in ur daughter room...ur c what came out was true scene..boy will get beaten...what brij had to do is done by UV ...maybe bcoz they know UV is there would be son-in -law...we had seen in past also how much they rely on UV.
UV taken out all his hurt emotions on majnu as he is the main reason for all this.so end was on his part...
i too didn't felt anything sad for amonia bcoz majnu was beaten bcoz he was inside the room of there daughter.so he deserved that
& M what she was doing in past keeping everyone blindfolded & playing with UV ..she got that back what she gave UV.
best i found on UV & DS
UV when all cards got opened he respectly exit from the picture his role he kept where it needed & left the palace on dot time...it was good he didn't met M that would that moment may looked awkward why now UV is going to meet M it should be some family member instead...cv's could show some scene but its they made UV left the place...as u pointed out on majnu's ans he was hurt on that part..he could make him stop to say but with dignity he back-off...
DS took the cake of being a calm lady when majnu questioned her...what she replied to majnu was mirror our thought he is the one who is keeping away M to meet her real identity...they waited for her for 16 years & now he is one who is dragging M to her past & making a wall b/w her & her family...
i totally loved DS part very muchh...
for future it only lies manveer how much M tries to hold her past but she just can't hold the future her destiny & truth ..truth is she is born princess...& future will come she had to let go her past to make the way for future...show itself holds future.
