Hi, Poco!! 😃

Finally, today, I pressed the Chaska Meter because this show was worthy of the button and worthy of the 5 stars.

Coming into your analysis:

"Maanyata is still not an honorable princess or a respectable woman of blue blood ' am sorry to say. Instead of feeling ashamed and guilty of UV exposing Aakash in front of her whole family , she preferred to stand by and stand up for Aakash. To hell with a blood bond of 20 years and her family's honour ' who cares? Just scream , rage, rant and cry a bucket of tears. Tears of worry for Aakash and what about the tears that were in DS and Komal's eyes? Or the disappointment and shame on Brijraj's face? Where was all this pain and rage when you were cheating your family night and day?"
Applause, applause, applause. Exactly. I cringed at the fact M just clung onto him despite seeing the horror, shame and shock on her family's face. The girl should have been lowering her head, averting her eyes in shame... but nooo- Manyata darling just cribbed for her Majnu and I was like 😲. The audacity! Truly terrible. I am glad that DS in the precap has finally taken the step that I have been complaining - they have not been firm enough with the bratty princess [Speaking of the elegant woman, I want to give her a hug - she has given me hope for the direction of this show.]

"For a change, luck chose to favour UV over Maanyata and the whole family got to see the circus that Maanyata had been putting them through."
And us, too. Finally, it's over. I was going to give up on this show had they chosen not to expose A.

Now, separate comments:

UV, UV, UV... I was a little... er-surprised that he hit A. As much as I am going to replay those moments where he hit A and tell myself that it was well-deserved, even I cannot shake the feeling that it was unlike him. But then people, whether they are royal or not, tend to lash out on objects or other people when they are absolutely furious. UV's anger has been building up ever since he saw the romance between his fiance and a chawl wala - not to forget he has realized that she has been sugaring him up just to get what she wants... I guess, this brought out something about him
And also... I hope in the next episode he gives the cold treatment to Unnati because punishing Manyata was not enough. Period. She was more concerned for that A when she had backstabbed her own brother.
(Yes, I take family bonds very seriously.)

Manyata... I roll my eyes at her. What did you really expect from your family or from UV when they would see Majnu in your room? Think like a sane person.

The rest of the family. I salute DS... Komal is in her "My daughter called me Maa" land so I cannot really blame her for trying to protect M... Brijraj... Ah, I wish you had not listened to DS 😆... J - Are you serious? Her arrogance seems to be inflating, rather than deflating. Poor girl... And Vijay Bhai... I just love him 😆

Anyways, awesome post! Loved it as usual! 😃

TC.

he should've helped M to settle in her new life and tell her to stop arguing, yelling, taporigiri and putting the family into tough situations.. may be DS and others would've respected him

Thank you. I don't know what the logic of the CVs is but unless Aakash goes, Moniya will not be able to evolve into Maanyata that UV will do now- there is simply no seriousness to the character. I see nothing beyond wannabe majnugiri and that is not how life runs. Aakash never did anything to help Maanyata into accepting her fate . As DS voiced it , he stayed an obstacle.

There are things i agree/disagree with :)
Manyata has definitely put her family to shame. It was sad to see DS & Komal so disappointed. But i do not agree with the actions directed towards Akash- beating him up, putting him in jail. I feel that Manyata deserves to be punished, more than Akash. He only loved her & not committed a crime. Its true that he should not have sneaked into her house like that, but come on, Manyata was involved too. She also let him in & is to be blamed. Such harsh treatment, according to me, is not justified. But i guess they are royals...

UV was rather vulnerable, as he let his emotions take over himself & he lost his calm, causing him to beat up Akash. I really hope that he will remain as an anti-hero & the CVs won't make him negative. You might not agree, but i felt that Akash was definitely potrayed to be a hero, in comparison to UV, based on today's episode. I'm not saying that UV is negative, btw. We know he is capable of being good.

And i loved DS, because what she said is what we all have been feeling. Akash is not letting her move on & is dragging her back to her old life. So, i respect her for that & i am glad, she will be taking action in tomorrow's episode :)

All in all, it was definitely a good episode. But it has left me confused as to who the leads are.

Thank you😳. Aakash was beaten up and put in jail because he was found in the cupbaord of the family daugher's bedroom. And its not a small thing. Barring UV raising his hand on Aakash, he got what he invited - any respectable family would do that. Maanyata will be punished but in the DS way. Aakash may have been portrayed as the hero today but UV, as the anti-hero would always steal the thunder from him. Aashish , at this stage of his career will not be suicidal enough to do a negative role. Lets wait for ManVeer's evolution and it will happen.
DS voiced what we think and as for the leads - as SA said - leads are those who appeal to you.

A totally outstanding post...to the point and accurate...
Agreed that any faimly would have reacted the same way as Royal faimly reacted...
after reading your post even I agree that Akash beating is totally justified...any normal faimly will not tolerate to find any man in their female member's room and here this is a blue blood faimly which is much more dignified...
and with that she has broken the trust which she had gained in last few days... in the room when Akash was caught..i think even Komal was angry...
and that was really disappointing that rather than giving the clarification..she just interlocked her arm with Akash.. that made a impression that she dosen't care a bit about her faimly.. all she cares is about herself and her lover...
and I seriously loved DS.. the way she tackled Akash's question was muaahh.. i love her... a perfect answer to Akash...
and really Akash need to learn that she is no Moniya but Manyata..
and UV.. well.. the reaction which he gave.. i think was all the anger which was building inside him after the birthday lie...so thats justifies his action...and it also give an indication that now his heart is also totally in game.. otherwise as a prince wanting only the property..he would have enjoyed the show..
and love you for making such a wonderful post...
keep rocking...

I feel for Udayveer and the royle family and I couldn't careless for Moniya and Akaash cos the mean so little nothing to me.

once again fantastic post dear.

Thank you, sweetie. Yep. At this point , one feels the worst for the royals and to an extent UV. Maanyata gets no sympathy votes at all.😆

EVERYTHING.
It doesnt matter if you're a girl from a Chawl, a lower or upper middle class family, and yes, even a royal: Izzat- meaning RESPECT, is the most PRICELESS thing a family holds onto through their daughters.
Yes, it sounds cliched and perhaps holds a slight double standard: BUT it is a REALITY. Regardless of Money, status, power and language, or location: Any Indian will quote this as being a FACT.
It is simply the reality of our culture: Ones daughter is like a badge of honor, and can easily bring the family to shame- example, the instance today with Akash in her room.
Even in my family, where we've been born and raised in a "western" nation, these values hold TRUE for us as well. There is this EXPECTATION, UNDERSTANDING, and simple RESPECT that these boundaries must be maintained and followed.
Thank you so much for pointing out this reality: A Family's Izzat through their daughter is BEYOND many factors- it is simple, timeless and universal.
If only Manyata could have understood that. It's a shame that even through her apparent travels and vast expereince through India, she failed to see this simple principle which is as old as this nation. I don't know if it's a fallacy, or that puppy love simply causes one to lose common sense and respectability.
"Respect for one's parents is the highest duty of civil life."
- Proverb

Thank you, Reehu and aptly put. 👏...Maanyata has no seriousness as a woman, as a daughter and she is just as good or bad a vratty kindergarten kid with a lollipop. What more can one say about the maturity of a girl who holds her lover's arm when caught red handed by her fiance and her family. Maanyata will learn everything civilized, cultured and sensitive THE HARD WAY and rightly so. 😃

Kya likhun?

No seriously, you summed it up brilliantly though I myself think that Uday's maar kutai was justified. Said it in a few posts, ab dobara likhun? Khair! Uday is a human. Like you said, seed is a Manyata but sword fell on someone else. But yaar, he's been wounded like never before! Hurt in the worst possible way! Itni maar tou banti hai. Loved it how he came, he beat him, threw in front of the police and walked away. Loot liya!

DS proved just why is she the queen. The lady never speaks unless she has all the facts ready to do her bidding and bite the opponent in the worst possible way. Same thing happened with Majnu! She threw the facts at him, one by one. Those harsh facts and he was silent. Kya kehta? He had already dug his own grave when he decided to speak to DS. If he had said anything else, he would've been buried right there.

Brijraj was a typical father today and boy, did I love him?! Sure the scene was super Laila-Majnu, Heer-Ranjha type, and I hated it as well, but acha tha. Well Majnu spoke to DS about Manyata and Brijraj just cried out, enraged, "How dare you talk about my daughter like that?!" Ufff!! <3

So freaking much happened today that I can't predict anything now. For once, I don't want to. Let the tides take control...right now I just want to flow...
