Okay, today , since it was a totally powerpacked episode , and each and every character took the story forward , I am going to talk about the episode in totality ' Rajmata & family , UV , Maanyata, Akaash 9 cannot call him by the 'P' prefix as per the new rules.
Hmm, okay , ek baat bataao. We all live in a family ,right? We all have girls in our families. Now, as a family , how would anyone of us feel if from the room of our sister/daughter/ relative , we find a man in a cupboard? Not necessary to ask, right? Immediately , your blood ties rise like a crashing wave and all those intrinsic values of honour, respect , pride and culture in the family come gushing to the surface. And what you feel is ' DISGRACE, SHAME, FURY. Moving on, how would you feel if you trusted your daughter , sister , wife , cousin BLINDLY , letting them get away with anything and everything because you love them. And one fine day , that loved one backstabs you and you realize that you have been taken for a royal ride like a fool because you blindly loved and trusted someone.
Padh liya? Now, in the brackets that I mentioned above , just fit the whole royal family. And you won't be able to raise a single finger on any single person of Maanyata's family ( barring J and Vijay ). Today , they were a dishonored , ashamed, backstabbed family who had an additional slap of getting embarrassed in front of the prospective son-in-law UV as the daughter of the house, the crown princess , the queen-in-waiting was found in a room with another man. DS, Brijraj, Komal , Doctor Uncle ' all the proud and loving faces hung in shame because Maanyata had disgraced them. All the trust and love that they had placed in her went down the sewer. It really did.
Maanyata is still not an honorable princess or a respectable woman of blue blood ' am sorry to say. Instead of feeling ashamed and guilty of UV exposing Aakash in front of her whole family , she preferred to stand by and stand up for Aakash. To hell with a blood bond of 20 years and her family's honour ' who cares? Just scream , rage, rant and cry a bucket of tears. Tears of worry for Aakash and what about the tears that were in DS and Komal's eyes? Or the disappointment and shame on Brijraj's face? Where was all this pain and rage when you were cheating your family night and day? Saying that you care about your family is one thing and feeling their sting in your veins is a totally another thing. Instead of apologizing to her family , tackling the situation and accepting her mistake, she was all wounded self-sympathy. And considering what she has been upto these past few weeks, you are not going to feel bad for her at all . At least, I didn't. For how long could she have pulled a cover over her family's eyes? For how long could she have fooled UV using her pretentious sweetness and Unnzie as a shield? KARMA , is something , isn't it?
Coming to UV, he did what we had feared the most. COLD INJURIOUS REVENGE. Luck was totally on his side as he royally exposed Aakash , right there , hiding in a cupboard - to the whole royal family. His pent up fury , his simmering revenge ' he totally KILLED the episode today and he delivered what he had promised Maanyata at the mall the other day. For a change, luck chose to favour UV over Maanyata and the whole family got to see the circus that Maanyata had been putting them through. And boy! UV was at his wounded and aggressive worst today. He raised his hand at Aakash , for the first time ever since he has known him ' he has never hit him before but today he did ' all the rage that he felt on Maanyata and Unnzie was vented on Aakash . UV was all raw emotion and that too injured ones but they were taken control of by his inbred sly brain. Just like you cannot justify Maanyata's betrayal to her family , you cannot justify UV's fury unleashed at Aakash and how. UV was at his darkest worst ' the seed is Maanyata but the sword fell on someone else. UV didn't go back to see Maanyata after handing over her hidden lover to the police . He , simmering , seething at Aakash's taunting jibe that how will UV make Maanyata love UV , shook him. That was the only time , UV looked lost and vulnerable but the Rajwaada blood didn't let him break. There isn't much to predict about UV because his suffering began two episodes ago and a hell lot of burning is coming his way. But yep, you have to hand it to UV ' He DELIVERED what he had promised. Cold and how.
But you know which person summed up everything that we have been feeling about Aakash? Dadisa. When Aakash pleaded with her that she should think about Moniya's happiness, I loved what DS delivered to him amidst tears of shame. She told him that he is less of a lover and more of an obstacle in Moniya turning into Maanyata. Here, we are trying so hard to elevate her to her destined life and throne , but everytime we take one step ahead , you pull her 20 steps backwards. What you do not understand or comprehend at all is that we are not a normal family. We are blue blood ' born into power , honour and responsibility and our blood itself designs our destiny. DS was not harsh ' she was hurt , disappointed and devastated.
As for Aakash, I really don't know what to say anymore. He is a little boy next door who has a unidimensional vision of Moniya . And he refuses to or is colour blind to the fact that Moniya is not Moniya. She never was. She is Princess Maanyata and that bloodline itself demands a responsibility ' you cannot pull her away from that. Today , you want to whack UV for raising his hand at Aakash because Aakash appears so Moniya-sick and helpless. But more than that you realize that wish the whole world realizes that love is not about sneaking into a girl's room and counting stars. Love is about walking through the door, taking her hand and telling her that she was born to conquer the world and you are right there next to her to watch her walk to the throne.
The kind of love that disgraces , that is selfish, runs from responsibility and hoodwinks respect is like a firecracker. It will burst into passionate flames and then turn into ashes. It looks epic and glorified for a moment but it never is. I don't know if the creatives believe in that, but I do. Love nurtures and honours and that is that.
As for ManVeer. They are at the worst patch ever. Maanyata hates UV for hitting and snatching away Aakash. UV is disgusted and perhaps will not place any faith in Maanyata in future even if she is put through tests of fire. But their fates are entwined, for whatever reason. Don't believe me? Today, Maanyata prayed hard that she and Aakash get saved but this time, destiny shook her head and favoured UV. Justice delivered.
As for J, her obsession with Maanyata and UV continues and it will consume her someday. Now, she believes that UV will fall into her lap like a paka hua aam.
Don't feel bad for Maanyata because she deserved this UV-directed showtime. Don't feel bad for UV because he balanced his vulnerability with the devil in him. Feel bad for the royals because their hearts broke. And what you want to feel for Aakash, I leave it to individual opinion.
Waise ek baat bataao, agar aise hi koi ladka hamaare ghar ki kisi ladki ke kamre se nikalta, to kya karte? BHAGAA 'BHAGAA KE MAARTE. On-screen wahee hua , jo off screen hotaa. Still, UV hitting Aakash was very Un-UV. Its not him and i hope it doesn't happen again.
