ManVeer : Be Scared. Very very scared.

Don't think that am on drugs but after I finished watching today's episode, I realized that just like the beast has a heart , UV, no matter how villainous , grey , wicked or dark he is , there is a definite naivet and innocence to him. You see that innocence when UV chooses to trust Maanyata's intentions regarding her secret meeting with Unnzie, Sicky, Bhootni . You see that child like trust when UV buys all of Maanyata's and unanti's lies and even smiles boyishly when Maanyata does a DDLJ act with him. You see that relief and blind pride in Maanyata when Maanyata prepares a supper of snacks for DS and rest of the family. TRUST. A touchy issue with someone like UV who actually plays the game of trust everyday , so it will be like a coal piece calling the coal mine black. When today's episode ended, UV had no idea that he had been fooled, lied to by two of his most favourite women ' Maanyata and Unnzie. Maanyata broke his trust for the second time and Unnzie for the first time, perhaps. UV got suspicious but he let his emotions and fondness for both the girls rule him. Now, will you still ask why it is so much safer to be heartless and cruel? One still hopes that UV knows everything and is just playing along , because nobody wants to see him look and feel betrayed.
UV was intrigued, touched and tickled by Maanyata's sweetness and playful bashful behavior with him ' yes, he got suspicious , very suspicious and maybe he still is at the back of his head but whatever he 'feels' for Maanyata kind of overruled every ounce of suspicion. When he does a complete u 'turn in shock on seeing Maanyata eating his favourite breakfast with a fork and knife , when he listens to Maanyata's diabetic mousse talk , when he studies her , when he defends her and her friends in front of Jaanwar , when he buys all the bullcrap that all women pile on him about Chanda, SRK and DDLJ, when he grins and smiles boyishly as Maanyata delivers a dramatic romantic line to him, when he feels touched and proud of her in the dining hall ' that was and that is how UV can really be if he is nurtured with love and respect which Maanyata pretended to give him. He is not some satanic figure who is planning the next visit to hell all the time. He gives you what you give him. He has innocence , he has vulnerability and he has a heart ' its just his upbringing , people around him and emotional cheating of the kind that Maanyata and Unnzie did today make him believe that he is fine as the monster that he is. UV is not , but he should be scared of letting his heart show and letting anyone walk all over it.
As for Maanyata , well, she will soon need a shrink if her UV obsession doesn't stop. She said bye to Pakaash while apologizing about blabbering about UV. She came back home and instead of destroying some more songs in memory of Pakaash and her meeting , she chose to fume over UV. She admitted to Unnzie that UV is gaining a foothold in her head and she talks about him all the time and she is going to go crazy. UV didn't do anything in the last 24 hours to upset her but she wants to believe that he did so that she can rage, rant and crib about him. She didn't even realize that she has a better grip over UV's thought process and his capabilities than Unnzie when she told Unnzie that Pakaash's birthday party is not possible because UV always knows everything. UV is Maanyata's latent obsession and its taking shape. And as much as you love the ManVeer scenes at the dining hall where she is the biggest darling to him , when she plays DDLJ with him , when she pretends to be nice to him ' you can't help but notice the naive but hurtful intentions behind this behavior. She is being a sweetheart to UV so that he doesn't fight with her , bother her or keep an extra watch on her ' but it is, all said and done, sentimental deceit. A man who deceives himself and the world with his charm gets deceived in the heart by a woman he is turning into center of his existence.
DS-Maanyata-Komal were beautiful today when Maanyata realized how much these people love her as they talked about her lost years and gave her those gifts. It was comforting to know that Maanyata does miss her foster father and that she does feel bad that she can't recall a single memory of her own blood relations. DS was so sentimental today that when she gave that 500 rupee note to Maanyata as 'shagun' for making such amazing street food, you all want to smack Maanyata and tell her that we know you are falling in love and line with your original family but don't let any momentary mischief and madness ruin what you have found after years. Fine, you are doing all this to go and see Pakaash on his birthday ' all these games with UV and emotional chess with DS and others ' but from an objective POV , its nothing but sentimental deceit.
Maanyata should be scared of playing too much on sentiments with UV. If she falls for him for real , it will hurt like hell and all these trust games that she is playing with him will prove fatal. Be scared of breaking the trust of your family ' its easy to deceive your loved ones and its easy to win them back as well ' but the journey between losing and regaining it is a test of fire.
I don't want to judge Unnzie but as an individual opinion, all I will like to say is that I have a brother too and we are as close as air and breath. Nobody and nothing in this world will make me side with anyone to lie to him. And nobody will ever be close enough to him to make him do anything that will hurt me. UV and Unnzie are bound by trust as well. She is the only one whose one slight furrowed eyebrow ends his smile. Although am trying to understand that Unnzie is being a friend to Maanyata but does that mean making a fool out of UV? If I was in Unnzie's place , I would put UV, my brother , ahead of everything and everyone.
As for the rest of the episode, DS was after my heart and the scene where Unnzie, Maanyata, Sicky, Bhootni stand up in horror and fear as UV makes an unexpected entry into their room is worth a watch. They all look so terrified of UV before they cover their Pakaash plans with SRK/DDLJ lies . I was like , so, that is how a king enters and his queen fools him?
