molar pregnancy occurs when there is no actual baby but instead excess pregnancy hormone in the woman's body, a pregnancy test would have come out postive but when they use a ultrasound there is no baby there at all. This can lead to cancer, so it's important for the mother to be monitored for a year and not get pregnant for that time period

I am reinforcing something I learned a few years ago in college, it's been about three years when i first heard of molar pregnancy. I have done other pregnancy issues with another on screen pair. Molar pregnancy the issue is that if the woman concieves too soon after the molar pregnancy the mother and baby if there is one can both die. Other issues you treat it and in most cases with proper monitoring everything should be fine. It's quite common in Southeast Asia, which means us desi folks can also have it. Luckily it's not too common but the fact is that can happen. It's very important to keep your doctor's appointments when you know you are pregnant. A pregnancy test alone should not be used to vertify a pregnancy.
