but iq and toughing it out on some exams is still one of the best ways of beating those blues. less of a jua than betting on a lucky strike 😊

^how about they start out climbing one step at a time 😊 no one gets airlifted and dropped to the highest peak overnite in life. we all start that journey with baby steps 😊
sounds like a good plan.😛 but does not do anything i think to undermine the point about iq being a useful thing. provided of course one wants to use it.😉😊
There is a social aspect to poverty where poverty is in great numbers , poor do not make conscious effort to break out of it even when true equality of opportunity is attained, smart people rise, leaving rigid, lazy or intellectually incompetent in the lower class. It's like you have to want to come out of poverty not just in intention but in action as well.
As madgirl pointed in her post, bring them into a different environment/society and they start working in all kinds of jobs even cleaning bathrooms at heathrow airport.
^how much iq does one need to figure out:
- too many kids means too much demand on virtually non-existent resources
too much of IQ since you have to be able to decide if they eat more or work more and get some more money....
- sharab and juaa cost money that could be used for something more constructive when one is short on money to begin with again too high IQ req.. to decide if they should take sharab go to the kotha or just grocery shop....
- sitting idle at home is really not contributing to the family's welfare again too much IQ.. again if going out to work means some form of dereliction at home..
- even sarkari schools, available to all, impart some education which is lot better than no education at all
- reaching out to someone who can help u in any possible way is lot better than not making any efforts at all
i can add more to this list but i feel u guys get the idea 😊
let them cover their basics first...or show enuff zeal to cover the basics. advanced courses can come later 😉 😆
An IQ of over 110 is required to go through those decision process.. but if they have some dss they should be fine...😆

though some folks might shoot themselves in the head if they had an iq as low as that, 110 still aint exactly low iq by standards of the masses.😆 it's higher than i think 75% of the folks out there. normal bell-curve, 100 mean, std deviation of around 15😉
so if we are going to assume someone has a way higher than normal iq, then more decisions would of course seem to work out. what i was saying😉

IQ is just an ability. Can you really use it is another question... So bill gates is going to fail at GRE or something like that now... 😆
why poor...... 🤔 ...coz they r not rich 😃 bekaar mein itney pages bher diye. simple laagik hai yaar 😆
well, then, u missed out the middle-class. 😛coz they are neither rich nor middle-class.😆
