Here is another debate:

Poor people are poor , cause they have low IQs , otherwise, they would've made their own ways eventually to get rich ..

Or

It is nothing to do with IQ it is more of the chances of opportunity .

What you say ? 😊

It is nothing to do with IQ and not even with the oppurtunities, when there is no zeal to come out of "poorness" any number of oppurtunties won't be of any use.

i agree with raj here. it's more to do with the atitude and a miniscule part played by luck. people who don't have the zeal, the drive, or the dreams usually remain where they r.

Has anyone read The Bell curve and IQ and of course the debate that followed?

High IQ -high intelligence and higher creativity are desirable, but unless they are linked to some kind of moral compass which includes work ethics and higher thinking, it won't make them any better then the rest who may not posses these traits. 😊

High IQ alone is not sufficient. There are several geniuses who are paupers. A high business IQ can exploit other intellect for personal gain. The knowledge has to be valuable and sustainable. To be rich you need valuable knowledge in a profitable field along with the personal intellect to sustain it for yourself without being exploited.

I think most people are either crooked and rich or hardoworking and lucky. Poor people neither resort to crooked means or cant resort to them or are hardworking and unlucky...

If killing and robbing is not a punishable crime.. there wont be any poor people.... 😊

poverty is the state initiated by subliminal dilemma bet' the right and wrong, good and the bad...

i think poor people are poor to a large extent because of low IQ. the low IQ in turn can be linked to fewer opportunities to develop higher IQ. so it's a chicken and egg thing.😛

yes yes, we know of exceptions. am just talking about statistical averages that i hypothesize we'd find. just to preempt all the "this one was high IQ but dirt poor" kinda enumerations. 6, 7 billion world population, so shldnt be too surprised to find lots of exceptions😊

also, imo morality has very little to do with poverty/ affluence, unless one is talking about the poverty/ affluence of the mind and the soul.😛 lots of bad 'uns enjoy life to the last gasp, belying the other wild theories of heaven and hell being on earth alone.😉

Many rich people have IQ of bet' 70-90 I would think... 😆...... Genius's being pauper is not unfortunate, undesirable situation... as your posts might indicate... people who want to earn money dont have to use brains.. . Business intelligence might have nothing to do with IQ just EQ.. if required....one should be able to exploit a situation, people and circumstances... to be rich...all businesses in the US are run exactly that way...

haan yaar.😛 dont know why all those people who want to earn money try to use their brains. dont also know why people with brains dont already know they dont have to use them to get what they want, no?😉😆

do you suppose businesses elsewhere are run as charities?😆 do you also suppose it takes more brains to run charities than to run businesses?😉😆
