i think lowering the age is the wrong response here. they shld instead put the guys thru a driver ed kind of marriage class. like they have for reckless drivers. 😆 just one sitting thru all the khit-khit to come and someone can tame those hormones for a long time 😉

We already had debate on appropiate age of marraige we think, but law enforcement on age is like something to think about.

Am suprised to learn (frankly) age of s* consent is 16 in India...am shocked never actually payed heed always thought it was 18. This is insane and upsetting...what ever the culture is or etc etc is ...legal age for marraige should be for men 23 + and same for women, to justify...DO SOMETHING IN LIFE before going in for a rafting ride of responsibilities... additionally there should be criterias like.... nevermind thats too much to ask. 😉

Exactly my point. Just b/c girl can have baby as she has reached puberty which could be even at as young as age 9 does not mean she is ready to marry or have baby .

Physically or emotionally no way she is ready IMHO.
