I know this topic is being discussed however, the point I am trying to put forward is completely different and I would be happy if you give your thoughts and opinons.

If a teen girl had unwanted sexual intercourse, do you think their parent's (The teenage girl's mom and dad) have the right to say wether they want their daughter to go through abortion or not? The mum and dad ofcourse would want to take their own decision eventhough the teenage girl should have taken precautions. Or do you think the teenage girl has the right to decide wether she wants the baby or not. I watched a documentry where the daughter and her boyfriend both 14 had sexual intercourse, and the teenage girl went through abortion (Using pills prescribed by the hospital). However, When her mother found out she was terribly upset that she didn't have the right to decide wether her child should/shouldn't go through abortion! The mum and dad want their daughter to be safe. NHS should have the parent's know first if an underage child wants to go through abortion.

A teanager is not emotionally , mentally and physically ready to take up responsibiliies that come with being a mother .And not even mature enough to understand the complications that could happen with abortion . So it is something a parent should be informed about and its the parent who must decide whether its safe to go ahead with an abortion .

How ever in certain cases telling a parent can lead to life threatening situation with many girls example honor killing( a most horrible death sentence given by some families to daughters, wives etc who bring dishonor ) , then it is a better choice to go ahead with the abortion without telling even the parent.

Also i am against a teanger keeping her pregnancy ( unless its necessary for medical purpose) , since she will end up burdening her family with this or end up ruining her own life !

Hmmm! The best conclusion is . . . . . . . . . if you are too young ( like a teenager) please avoid sex! Better to stay out of trouble in the first place!😕

Very interesting...
Firstly, unsafe sex is dangerous. Teenage sex, teenage pregnancies are very risky as well. The question you pose here matters more towards ethics and morals. If you ask me, the condition depends on the parents. Of course, if they ask her to abort, it may be for her own good but personally, I would hate to kill an innocent life that failed to come in this world. That is why I say no sex before marriage. Teenagers abort because of society's fear. So, ultimately, it depends on how strong the girl's parents are to handle this situation. It is during these tough phases that the morals and ethics of many are tested. Good question but I cannot give an ultimate answer to this question. Basically, you have to follow the consequentialism ethical theory in this where you react and take your actions based on what the situation is then...
