1. Can the broken friendships...broken relations.....patched ...easily.....????? It sounds impractical and not easy....

Some friendships can be mended easily if we forget the ego and clear misunderstandings right away. Some can be mended with time and understanding. Some already do so much damage that there is no scope left for patch up.

2. Consider the nations.....Pakistan and India...the common people in both countries don't have any harsh feelings towards the people of the mutual countires....somany thousands of people in India have relatives in Pak and vice versa.......the relations between the nations India and Pak are not so good as they needed to be......but how can the nations patch the differences and move forward forgetting the wars and all misdeeds...at the same time ..are'nt the emotions of the people important......

It is not true that common people don't have hatred. I have seen many on both sides carry spiteful thoughts about each other probably because of what they were told by older generation or the views they formed seeing the present scenario. The relation between the two countries is souring as the years pass. Two countries don't need to forget enmity on emotional level as on economical and political level they are working together. That is only required for any two countries.

3. When it is tough at the individual level to accept /or patch up an old friendship... how is it possible at the nations level....???

As I already said this friendship drama at national level is not required.

4. Do the nations consider the emotions of the people of their countires when discuss the issues of modifications of the relations between the countries?

Is it even practical? A country goes to war when half of its population is against it. A political decision is to be made thinking about what is best for the country at that moment and not based on people's emotions and even otherwise it is impossible to even consider.

5. Are emotions constructive forces or desrtuctive forces.....for an Individual and for a nation......in dealing issues...

For a nation emotions doesn't work. Think about the country first. At personal level emotions are necessary. Now whether it is constructive or destructive depends upon the situations and person.

Hmm, emotions...How about posing this questionnaire to our Army???Here we are discussing emtions and there, they were fighting at the border, getting killed for no mistake of theirs, on their own land... ..We never went on war against any country, but what should we do when others keep taking our Peace principles as some weakness???

I don't think friendship is ever possible with the countries who always keep scheming behind our backs...The people don't matter when the policies of the gov. are the real deciding factors...

I was just reading about the Kargil war and got reminded of the betrayal and back stabbing once again...Till today, forget the compensation for causing an unneccesary war and death of so many innocent soldiers, they did not even ask for a apology..I know some of you must be thinking I am out of mind, asking for an apology ...So much for emotions, no???Is it just us who have to talk about emotions??Arre think about those soldiers who are dying everyday because of that one deceit we were faced with in 1999...They are forever stuck at those terrible high altitudes, why? because we cannot afford to do it all over again...

I am not for any peace talks, or friendship relations with any country who is not worth it..PERIOD...
