Tired of reality, want some brain rest, want to be in fantasy land for a few minitues/hours (depending on the amount of time you have!)then watch Indian serials.

An adult life has enough stresses and tensions , and its a great releiver for me personally . I live in a country thats not my own , far away from family , parents , friends etc . And several days i stay alone in the evenings , with friends being busy with their own lives , TV soaps helps me relax and get lost in somebody else's lives ( character in the soaps). I have a choice of either reading a good book or watching T.V ......i do both , sometimes i am too tired to even read. I hope now you can understand why some people watch tele shows. You want something not too intelligent , as you need to rest your brain sometimes. So leave National Geographic channel for the weekends, when your brain is less tired . Hope you can stop judging us now and start understanding why many intelligent people watch soaps.

Yea.. I would have to say that they are time pass.. but the entertainment level has to depend upon which Indian soap you're tlkin bout..Some r reli good and some are not so good 😊
