1?😆i am really not sure whats the appropriate age, but if i have to give an input i would say let them know as soon as possible that they are adopted. may be from the age of 1. in this way, the childs spirit wont be shattered if they come to know about it at any rocky times which is mostly during teenage times when they are busy trying to find their own selves.

I think it should depend on the child's sensitivity and sensibility. Some kids can take such truth much earlier than others. So onus falls on parents to see when their child is prepared for such a revelation.
