Exercise good or bad?

Something related to health.

Any kind of physical activity causes stress to tissues / muscles. Stress to tissues and muscles over the time worns them out.

Is it aregued that 17 years master blater Tendular's cricket career, has worned him out even though he is 34.

it is suggested people should exercise regularly, excercise/ physical activity is good for health as compared to good eating habits for staying healthy.

No facts but have heard a old tale, that person can live longer if he/she takes rest whenever possible.

Finally -

1. Do you excercise? How often?

2. Excercise is necessary?

3. Does excercise worns the body?

4. Does excercise keeps you heathy, in-turn worns out tissues that in long run reduces years in your life?

Whenever I feel like exercising, I take a deep breath, close my eyes and lay flat for a while - till the feeling goes away 😃

For last one month I have started walking. Started with 1.2 miles and now have reached 2.2 miles. I walk on wkdays and wknds are off. I enjoy it very much. Keeps me up beat all day. More energy and it is good for my heart & lungs.

@DBs - Yeah this thought of worning oneself out is encouraging me to skip workouts 😉 ...

@Sweta - firs of all nice seeing yaa - where are u these days... Topic - yes excess is bad but any amount physical stress should count, less or more.

... but thats true good metabolism keeps one self slim and healthy... I envy such people... 😆 Now we know for sure PC will live for long...😊

but you can so tell she worksout crazy...sigh!

speaking of living longer...people who eat less and starve themselves to some extent are known to outlive people who eat properly...go figure😕

Thats actually true - its tied upto metabolism again. Even heard going without food one day a week increases one's life 😊

yup yup...heard of that too!

Physical activity may wear you out at first but as you develop endurance its all good. People push themselves to test limits which is ok but they must know when to stop before they cause injuries.😃 Im pro physical activity even if its 30 mins of going all out or 1 hr of intermediate activity.
