What's your thinking about this dude? Patriotic or Nahhh?
Nahhh😉
there is a context for what he said. Prior to 2014, India was extremely weak on defense. Just one example- we had planes that were ancient by modern standards and that kept crashing. The criticism of the Army in that sense of not having good armaments is valid and does not mean someone is not patriotic. In other contexts, modi has referred to these aspects... his concerns actually stem from a sense of patriotism, not lack of it... and he ensured that his government focus on building up our defense infrastructure. Even today, while modi has upped the game on defense weaponry, we still have ways to go. Modern weapons are very capital intensive but at least we have our priorities right... Unlike the UPA, he has ensured that money is not spent on scams and is actually spent on weaponry..
Again, mocking the army as in the soldiers is unpatriotic and ungrateful. Also while specific soldiers may be wrong and can be criticized or court-martialled, criticizing OUR army as an institution is unpatriotic... because our army as an institution has never indulged in wrong-doing. If you are taking of other armies, that might be a different story.
in the case of the general's tweet, even if chadha felt he was wrong, she should have made her criticism specific to him... and not send out a tweet that was insulting/ critical/ mocking of the army in general.
hope you get these simple points, and join the rest of us in condemning the Chadha female.😉😉😉 So again, a big Nahhh for you😉😆
