Akshay by all accounts was close to his father. Not sure how close she was to her grandfather. For most people, father is a closer relationship than grandfather. In any case, given she had her grandfather in the army, she should have some respect for it. Really shameful on her part to have displayed her initial mocking instinct.

Also, going by your logic, AK has very little incentive to suck up to anyone. He's a self-made successful man. If anything, Chadha has more incentive to suck up to the BW crowd, many of whom are pro-pak anti-BJP/ Modi.😉
