You're there to either play the game or watch the game

Do just that and come back and express yourself in your own country or any other country that allows it

But now the question is if it's happening in Qatar and It imposes any rule.. should it be followed or not

Why go in such a country to make a statement and and if guts hai then be ready to face consequence as well.

The consequences are the point. It draws media attention to an individual level like no philosophizing about human rights can.

If one has agreed to participate in an event hosted by someone whose mentality one knows but doesn't approve, one hasn't the right to go against this mentality, even though only by demonstrating through an imprinted piece of clothing.

If one is honest to the values/rights of humanity, one should have declined to participate.

So again it's a proof that money corrupts...

Quatar as a CHOSEN country for the World Championship has the right to oppose each demonstration of social/political statements on this platform.

I've a major concern for the consequences that will follow the act of the Iranian team at home. It has nothing to do with Quatar and football but with what happenes in their homeland...and they have family there...

This isn’t a case about “culture & values.” It is consciously, will fully, denying basic humanity to a group of people & trying to will them away. And ensuring that whoever participates, must do the same. This is a crime, and should be definitely called out for. If your “culture & values”= Ostracising the LGBTQ/ women, then your “culture & values” need to be discarded b/c they’re parochial at the least, and criminal, to be honest.

FIFA shouldn't have given hosting rights to Qatar knowing they will resort to this..

FIFA = Financially Interested Football Association

It is now redundant as the Championship started three days ago...

Doesn't it depend of WHAT they want to film? If it has nothing to do with the sport, they should - maybe - ask for an official to accompany them...

I repeat: wording concern about what is deeply wrong in Katar as a country without opposing actively is easy.

All those concerned people who visit Quatar because of this event (and leave money there) would find an excuse in any way why they support the event. Look at the stadiums - (fully) packed.

Qatari's don't have issues with zakir naik but have issues with LGBT talks a lot about their value system.

Its a sport event n everyone is there for football not to learn about Qatari values..Lollzz

Islamic countries need to be more liberal n accomodating otherwise they would just become a joke.
