I saw TKF. It is a good film technically and do mirror the past accurately according to my view.

It is better to accept things as they are instead brushing under the rug the ugly and vouch for the good. It is unfair.

Terrisom don't exist only because religion.

But it exists because of multiple reasons like poverty, gullibility and religion.

And BTW Shikara’s trailer itself has put me off for some reason. It felt like another movie where they tried to use the beaten to death trope of Hindu-Muslim bhai bhai by inserting a love story in the midst of it, instead of focussing on the actual topic on hand.

I have so many words to say,

But I don't think I can take you seriously. And I don't think you have the capacity to understand.

You said terrorism has no religion. Hahahahaaaaaa ok

Next you said Shikara is better. Again. Hahahahshaa.

I am waiting for it to come on streaming.

As most people know, my views have usually been secular and left of center. Similar to what Minty said in the opening post. But people on either side have made up their minds. So my opinion doesn't matter. Why bother?

So you believe in the notion that religion plays no part in terrorism? I am not on the right side either but isn't that being naive?

I usually agree with most of your posts hence the question

Minty, I agree with your general sentiment, but religious terrorism exists. Sweeping it under the rug led to the issue being exploited by a bigot.

I think we should face the issue head on. All religions need to be dragged into 2022, and we should not allow some to remain in Stone Age under the pretext of secularism.

Agree. But IMHO we still need to express our views, because every opinion matters in the big picture to keep things in the perspective. That’s how the mankind is still able to sustain despite so much negativity.
