No. This is my only ID on IF and I am here since last 10 years.

Edit - sorry if it was not directed at me.

Producers need not declare anything. They should just isolate harassers quietly.

The most spineless is Akshay Kumar whose wife gets trolled and abused by IT cell daily but he rather asks her to tone down her writing and SM posts than take action against cyber bullies.

I think ones like Anupam Kher, Sunil, Ajay should be seen as collaborators and Bollywood should see their real face. Anupam defended Kangana twice and has made hateful tweets. Is this how he sees his own industry? Amused how he has forgotten in whose films he and his wife got most recognition.

Karan is an opportunist and will not refuse to work for politicians. But atleast Bollywood should take action against websites, channels, journos, YouTubers, cyber criminals who target them through false propaganda, hate speech and violent threats.

One cannot act against ministers but definitely they can take a stand against other small fish or just refuse to engage with them and boycott them on their own.

As far as I know, Dev Anand, Kishore Kumar, Utpal Dutt did not yield nor apologised or backed off when they faced harassment for opposing Emergency. Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Gulzar even made movies taking digs at excesses during Emergency. Bollywood of today should show same spine.

I miss how Aamir Khan refused to yield to harassment he faced during Narmada Bachao Andolan controversy for merely attending a dharna.

There should be zero tolerance for unwarranted harassment and fake cases against industry people and their kids.

Ideally I would love to see the hindi movie industry stop promoting their movies or giving interviews to those channels. This is unrealistic because for all tall claims of unity there is no such thing in this industry. For starters I would atleast like to see few film personalities do that.Atleast take a stand in this regard.

I don't think people want that hassle.

A single fake case can ruin reputations and destroy lives. They might be rich but they are not powerful as we may think they are. They are resourceful, yes.. but the power lies with someone else.

The few powerful ones at least should take a stand as in not giving interviews and movie promotions to these channels. Godi Media must be exterminated!

They should just do social media promotions etc now. Find another alternative. Boycott news channels,.

But that won't really solve the problem.

I think they did try to fight legally last year.. what happened? Nothing. They did write last year after the drugs do dance by Arnab.. you can't fight power.
