I have family in Kabul and Herat as well. Taliban is asking them to stay home until the takeover is complete.

This is the issue. As a nation, we’ve never been able to get along with each other. Afghans have always been preoccupied with stupid shit like ‘We are Pashtun, We are Tajik, We are Hazara’. Had we learned to stop being racist to our own kind, Afghanistan wouldn’t be in the situation today.

They already started painting over girls photos on store walls and other public areas. What the hell were the men of Afghanistan doing? None of them want to fight for their country and their families? What kind of army just runs away?

When their own president has sold away the county to the enemies and fled, citizens have been left with no choice but to surrender. This has been planned well in advance. Afghanistan military has failed. Major generals, commanders have all run off. They’ve left the defenceless and innocent civilians at the mercy of these animals.

I cannot believe this is the same Afghanistan who once fought back and never backed down. 🥺

It’s heartbreaking watching what’s happening in Afghanistan. I literally cried today. Women and young girls are doomed.

I don’t understand why can’t world leaders come together and stop this humanitarian crisis.

And who is providing arms to Taliban? Russia? China? Pakistan? Whoever that is — 🤬

I wish safety and peace for all the innocent people who don't support Taliban.

Terrorism is always a problem at a grassroot level. If the locals will support them no one, I repeat no one can stop Taliban. Be it US, UN etc.

I am reading so many posts on twitter ( not sure about the numbers surveyed) that majority of population wants Sharia. How can someone help people with that mindset?

The same was happening in Kashmir since ages and abrogation of article 370 has literally shaken these terrorist to core.

Let me state this and people might not take this statement in a very healthy way but Islam really have a lot of fanatics who put their religion over humanity. How can Pakistan and their leaders celebrate this? India is still supporting them and accepting refugees while continuously being portrayed as not safe for muslims , intolerant etc.

I again wish safety and peace for all the IF family and innocent people. It's horrible. I can't even imagine the fear innocents might be living in.

Sorry. But the U.S. govt has to look out for its own citizens first. It is the responsibility of every government.

Also, the same people who decried U.S. *colonialism* for being there in the first place are the same ones now wanting the U.S. to intervene. I wish Americans did a better job of building Afghanistan in the last 20 years, but you can't ask for them to spend blood and money (2 TRILLION over 20 years) and continue getting brickbats thrown at them.

I don't know what I can wish for those poor innocent women and children stuck in that country destroyed by the corrupt government, corrupt army and the terrorists. Wish them a peaceful life outside of Afghanistan.

May Afghanistan heal with those who survive the terrorists, they find a strong rebellion, hope and peace in the aftermath.
