I'm with you. This just brought us to square one once again. We were just getting used to less terrorist attacks and I remember telling my mother the other day that atleast something good has happened under this government that we've had less attacks on that front. But alas. I can't believe there werent even whispers about it. These things don't happen just like that. It takes months of planning so I don't understand. I don't know more details yet and its hard for me to read too. 40 soldiers. Damn.

I totally dislike terrorists. Too many innocent lives lost to stupid beliefs and extremist views.

RIP to those that lost their lives.

heartfelt condolences to the deceased.

hope a needful will be done and that the memories of the martyred will not be abused to gain political brownie points, especially in the light of upcoming elections.

Shame on those who have committed such a condemnable act. Hope justice prevails this time around.

It was a localite who rammed his RDX laden van into the convoy. He was part of JEM since a year or something. Claimed responsibility through a video. Most probably a product of the post Burhan wani phenomena. The convoy had more than 70 vehicles. The aim clearly was to cause maximum damage.
