We are all hypocrites. Its like in our DNA. It's just that, it's easier to see hypocrisy when someone else is doing it, but we cant notice it when we're dong it. It's how the mind works.

The way I think of it, everyone is a hypocrite. Its an inherent human flaw. But, the degree of hypocrisy varies in all human beings.

Lets take an example of a lie:

No one can say that they NEVER lied in their lives (because that is probably a lie).

But, the degree of the lie is what makes a difference. "White lies" are often overlooked by saying that they are not a big deal.

But, when you have a person lie to you about something MAJOR to the extent that it is harmful (mentally or physically), it becomes a big issue.

The same principle applies to hypocrites. The bigger the hypocrite, the more that person is hated.

All of us are hypocrites but the degree of hypocrisy really matters.

All of us ARE hypocrite at some point of our lives! The only problem is, we fail to notice that! instead we point fingers at others - the biggest hypocrisy that exists...being hypocrites ourselves, we blame others! 😕

I think it's more of a projection!! What WE feel unto others! We are too scared to admit that we are hypocrites, so instead we blame others!![/QUOTE]

We set a standard and we try to meet that standard and if we don't meet that standard we pose to meet that standard.We don't try to accept the deviation we make from the standard we set.

Seriously, I think majority perception nowadays is that "Diplomacy" is a much sophisticated or polically correct name of hypocrisy!! In this way we have successfully hidden our perpetual hypocratic deeds 😕 😕 😕

Sometimes we need to act against our values, wishes, intentions due to the situation demand in real PRACTICAL life... ...At times i feel that we have a set pattern of right and wrong... but we have to act diplomatically which bugs me to no end 🤢 but... what to do.. it is the system of this world

Anyways .. is there any way of getting rid of this deadly human nature? Can anybody suggest .. please!!!

Yeah! I agree with you Maryam.Sometimes to win the situation we need to be diplomatic and act against our ideals,ideas.Intelligent people know how to get the things done,So I say HYPOCRISY is not so mean thing and being HYPOCRITIC is not a big sin.So we should'nt hate HYPOCRISY and HYPOCRITIC people.
