Are all hypocrites??

Good Morning! Good Afternoon and Good Evening!!!

The term Hypocrisy is the most hated term.So many say I hate hypocrites,I hate hypocrisy.This is the general meaning of hypocrisy "Hypocrisy is the act of pretending or claiming to have beliefs, feelings, morals or virtues that one does not truly possess or practice"(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypocrisy).

I feel hypocrites are not special category of people found in some planet in some seasons.They are not of some age or some gender.

All of us are hypocrites.We may not be hypocritic all the time but sometimes we may need to be like that...

If HYPOCRISY is such a common factor why do people hate hypocrisy?

Why do all pose that they are not hypocrites?

Just hypocrisy???

According to me, a common application of "hypocricy" is as an easy way to justify a certain bias / to pass a certain judgment. All of us are guilty of that, although the extent and issues very. For some, the issue may be as trivial as "hotness of a film star", for others, it may be grave discrimination between "daughter" and "daughter-in-law" / "mother"and "mom-in-law".

If HYPOCRISY is such a common factor why do people hate hypocrisy?

Dishonesty is bothersome, isn't it? Hypocrites are like woman hidden under an inch of fake-up!

Why do all pose that they are not hypocrisy??

They are immature and need to figure out who they really are. I also feel that these people are often insecure.

Just hypocrisy???

I don't hate shades of it / hints of it, upto a certain limit.

Another thought provoking topic from Mythili👏. Am I a Hypocrite? In some way or another, everyone is. It is because we often judge others from our perception. When it differs, we pass judgment.

The way I think of it, everyone is a hypocrite. Its an inherent human flaw. But, the degree of hypocrisy varies in all human beings.

Lets take an example of a lie:

No one can say that they NEVER lied in their lives (because that is probably a lie).

But, the degree of the lie is what makes a difference. "White lies" are often overlooked by saying that they are not a big deal.

But, when you have a person lie to you about something MAJOR to the extent that it is harmful (mentally or physically), it becomes a big issue.

The same principle applies to hypocrites. The bigger the hypocrite, the more that person is hated.
