Laptop for me.
Better because, I can lay on my bed, tuck myself warm in blanket and use it , take it to my desk, dining table, balcony, kitchen.. it's portable. That is why I am liking laptop more than desktop.

If only it is so simple like Laptop Vs Desktop... Laptop when i am at home, tablet when i am at shops and smartphone when i am on the throne 😛

Because i am unhinged and complicate things too much, I actually access my desktop through RDP on all my devices. This way i get the same apps and screens across all my devices.

For me it depends. I prefer my desktop when I really need to study do homework or write essays. I use my laptop when I want to watch tv shows or goof off on the internet. If I would have to pick my favorite out of the two then it would be my desktop, it's where I go get all of my serious work done.

Would have been true 15 years back. Right now students are major laptop users in schools and universities at least overseas.

Laptop for me - more portable and you can always connect it to other screens at your home to get that desktop feel.

even today it holds. Just because something happens more frequently doesnt justify its utility value. students should never use laptop. they dont acquire quick typiing skills compared to desktop keyboards...

If you can have both, use both.

if you want to buy one then it depends that what type of work you do,
what do you want to do with it.
do you want to carry it to office, college etc.
