Seriously guys, This thread is thought-provoking and amazing. Its time that people understand that when we say NO, we actually mean it. Learn it and Live it. 😳

And I really do agree with the Sex Education idea. If people were educated about this, then they would be more willing to talk and share their feelings. Sex should not be a taboo subject.

Thanks for this thread.

AMAZING 👏 kudos guys

Now coming to the man - woman relationship, there is really much to be changed. We have definitely changed a lot, but still we have long way to go. I literally everyday speak about this.

My friends are in the wedding phase. We are all the same age, but I do not include myself in that phase because I think it's too early. I see my friends being convinced by their parents to get married, when it's just the start of their career. Here starts everything. Forcing her to accept that getting married and starting the family is the ultimate goal of life, forcing her to leave her dream and job because HE or HIS family doesn't want her to work(why? So that she can serve your highness better?) And the girl's parents think it's their duty to ship her off as soon as someone ACCEPTS their daughter in exchange of a HUGE amount. They actually think it's their duty to send her daughter under protection before their time ends. But from whom are they really trying to protect her? Isn't this a paradox?

And once she is married that's it. She has to accept everything HE tells/does and can never say 'NO' because HE has given a place in HIS world. Oh yeah, not to forget , she can even forget her home because hey, she is under the ALMIGHTY'S protection, isn't she? So she HAS to do every damn thing to PLEASE him, though she doesn't like it. If she doesn't do it, then she is not an ideal woman. And the WORST part, she's convinced that she is blessed for all this. THIS is my concern.

Some, no, many parts of our society are still the same. I'm from South. I'm not telling we r still in the ancient times. MANY things mentioned above have changed, but not completely. The parents, the girls are all well educated. But when it comes to marriage, they are still the same.

The problem here is, they are all used to listening to their parents. So they do not voice their opinion. I urge them to speak to their parents and try to convince them. Trust me, they totally understand(or atleast seem to understand) every word I say and they feel it's right. But they don't talk because they do not have the confidence or confused to take a decision in life and they r afraid of talking to their parents or they do not want to hurt them, don't forget the emotional blackmail these parents do.

This is the sad state of where I live. Trust me, I'm not even from a village and neither my friends are. We are all from cities and have a well educated back ground. It really hurts me to see them become like this when it comes to marriage

Marriage must be built on love, understanding, sharing and adjustments. Not this slavery. So,

'Woman, first know what is REALLY right and wrong, KNOW what YOU want, TALK, for the love of God, PLEASE TALK'.

A very rhetorical question.. Although majority of marital rapes is done to the female.. does it work one way only?
Husbands can be raped too. A very unlikely situation, but still..

No means No and it should be Only No. Marital Rape is a crime and it will be always a crime. Marrying does not give one a license to do anything with your partner. Their is something called respect and happiness which is necessary in making a relationship successful.

Great Thread CCs. Wish people all over the world can think over this and learn from this.
