No matter you are related to someone in the industry or not, but if you can act, everything else is meaningless. Yes, we do over expect from star kids and compare them with their parents but I think it works in their benefit because they tend to work harder to lift that bar. and our Abhishek just provved that he can really act good.

I believe that Abhishek deserves every bit of the success he is getting today. He has become what he is today on his own. He didn't get instantly popular the moment he entered the industry...on the contrary i think that being amitabh's son intimidated him when he first entered the industries because he had heavy pressure to prove himself and deliver hits and hits like his father and I am sure that all of you, at some point in your life, would have realized how hard it is to work under pressure with all the eyes of the media people and other members on you waiting to cancel you out and bash you at every little mistake u make.

If anyother newcomer makes a mistake or delivers a flop, nobody would get their guns out and start bashing and criticizing him/her. So why are the rules different for abhishek? It isn't abhishek who went around telling people that 'I am special' or 'I am great coz my father is Amitabh Bachchan'. It is we the people who constantly kept on banging on his head that he is special and has to prove himself in his very first debut. It was the pressure to live upto his fathers name that intimidated him.

All that hype abt being Amitabh's son has had more negetive points then pisitive points for abhi but he managed to grow out of all that and though he wasn't so good in his first few films, he grew as an actor and as a celeb. He tried, he failed, he was bashed and criticized, he was cancelled of as an actor who will ever succeed, he had to bear all the taunts of how his father was 100% better than he was and how he will never match upto his fathers name. But Abhishek grew out of all that and he proved himself. He established through his fine acting that he was a great actor. and then he got the fame that he deserved. I thus think that he deserves every single bit of the fame he is getting today and he has not stopped, he is still improving with every single film of his and, I don't know why coz i don't even know him, but i feel really proud of Abhishek cause his determination and hardwork finally paid off 😊

I do not think Abhishek is overrated. I absolutely LOVE to see him in serious roles 👏 . I think it really suits him. I did not like his role in Salaam Namaste and Tera Jadoo Chal Gaya. But, apart from these two movies other ones are much better. 😊

1)But with just two "exceptional" performances,how fair is it that he's touted to be the next superstar😕?? well abhishek is our next superstar. i believe he is because he has all the traits..it is totally fair to call him the next superstar because of how his trends are..any movie that he does is either a superhit or an average hit..is that not good enough

2)IS Abhishek overrated...🤔....Barring Sarrkar and Yuva,he hasnt been superlative in any other movie well abhi is really not overrated..every actor is overrated in one way or another cuz not all like him/him..same case here..not many like him-but the ppl. who do, do not over rate him at all

3)SO is ABhishek worth all the hype and hoopla,or is he overrated😛well one day or another..everyone who says abhi was overrated will say "i was wrong" cuz he is really worth all this hype..if srk and hrithik receive all this hype..abhi at least deserves some hype

heck no hes not overrated.......you see all those flops he had in the beginning and him not being recognized despite being amitabh bachchan's son....he didnt even get signed with big banners until he showed some potential in his acting.......this is coming from someone who used to think he was a terrible actor and now simply adores him.......he has worked really hard and he doesnt take advantage of his bachchan surname......he has a long ways to go as does any other actor but he has a very promising future.....hes a superb actor 😛 😛 😛 ........naina

abi has cum a long since his 1st movie....he is now a gr8 actor so he is not overrated...sure he did many flop movies but do did his dad...he protrays a very diff character in each movie he does and he does it really gracefully...sum1 also metioned his chest hair...well cickne guiz r hot but they r the onez huz shirts r alwaiz off(its not tht i mind this...i mean look at john w/o his shirt 👏 ) abi as far as i can remember did not do ne movie wit his shirt off...i think tht ppl think hez overrated bc hez the BIG Bz son...people expect him 2 hav a god given grace of actin as gr8 as his dad...sure he might no b as gr8 as his dad but he is gud...these daiz there r soooooooo mani newcomerz in the industry hu r there 4 their gud lookz abi is one huz there 4 the lookz and the actin....
he might not b gr8 in all of his moviez but hez not bad either...sure yuva and sarkhar were big hits...but hu said B&B KANK and the other movies werent a success...

in my opinion abhishek bachchan is over rated... i will have to admit that he can act well... but the way he is ranked in bollywood nowadays is not really logical.... u dont see him really being compared to actors amongst his own league, but hez compared to the actors who have far more experience and success on their side than him ....... abhishek who was not recognized at all before is now a recognized actor, but y create a big star out of him wen he has so much more to accomplish ..... i mean it was only two years ago wen he gave his first hit performance, and now hes being compared to actors lyk shahrukh...... i mean sum people dont lyk the comparison between amitabh and shahrukh then how can srk and abhishek be compared,which is so often seen nowadays.. and that too wen abhishek has only achieved two years of success... i can only think of one thing wen i think about this , and thats that abhishek is being over rated as an actor... being a gud actor and being an over rated actor r two seperate things.... the fact is that hes a gud actor... but the way hes considered today in bollywood is too much... he still has to accomplish more... therefore in my opinion hes an over rated actor in bollywood.

He's not at that point in his career where he can be called "over-rated." Its only been in the last few of his films that he even got noticed. I would say.. thats hes still under-rated in a way!
