Yes... to a certain degree. But it also depends on the topic you are debating on, how 'knowledgable' you are about it, and which side you are on.... (if it's a negative side, positive side, or neutral). There are many factors which one needs to consider that are attached to the level of your efficiency on a particular debate:)
