Okay fellow members. I am pulling out from this one. I dont like guessing game myself so why keep others guessing. No I did not borrow money that day. Important thing is water. Skipping 2-3 meals is no big deal. I ate dinner after reaching home.

Many thanks for your input. Please continue with your discussion if you want to. tc

There is no way I can compete with that ..

๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜† But tell me, did you mean the ones that weigh you down, 'coz they are clingy and needy..
Is there a principle that makes men turn into chivalrous knights at the sight of a damsel in distress?

oh, that would be the Retard Principle. Maybe your knight is just a retard in tin-foil? I strongly feel if women can ever begin to see it that way, they would stop romanticizing about these retards.๐Ÿ˜†

coming to clingy women, i think men do want women to be clingy... for maybe half an hour each day๐Ÿ˜‰. Rest of the day , women should be in the kitchen. Ok, maybe not the kitchen because they keep knives there. Yeah, clingy women are too heavy๐Ÿ˜†

seriously, guys don't give women their due. Very bad of men. Women are the next best thing to anti-gravity. They get easier to pick up the heavier they get.๐Ÿ˜†

Gravity always gets ppl down...๐Ÿ˜›๐Ÿ˜‰

Interesting topic. Sorry I didnot read the posts and came right back to last page and saw this, I do intend to read all inputs though. DM has the most diversified views.
I was going to write something similar. I would stick to the prinicple that has been set in for years. Prinicples are subconsicously set during childhood and get stronger as we grow. For anyone to whom principles matter the most . It takes much severe extreme situations to reach their treshold.
Answer to the question Yes there is a treshold for any prinicple to be broken , it depends either on the intensity of the situation or on the person's will power. I dont borrow money from friends or collegues. The other day I forgot my lunch at home, didnot have breakfast. I forgot my coffee mug and I dislike to use the common mugs from office kitchen. I thought of having a energy drink but I had only 5 and 20 bills and vending machine would accept only 1s. I tried to get some change but no one had 1s worth $5. If I had told it was for the machine someone would have just given a dollar and I did not want that. Luckily I stay close by, went home had my full, brought my coffee mug. I would not have had anything even other wise and considered it as a fasting day. It only reminded me to stack some styrofoam cups , snack bars etc at desk and in the car. I have been through such situations where I had to endure long waits without any food available so this was nothing to me.
BUT what would I have done if I were to be in a situation where only option to survive would be to borrow money, then I would have may be, and would not have rested until I repayed it back and would hold respect for life for anyone who helped in case of need and yet revert back to sticking to my priniciple, knowing there is a treshold, only I try all I can not to reach it.

Retard in tin-foil ๐Ÿคฃ Ok you have officially ruined the concept of a knight in a shiny armor for me! But you are right, anyone who thinks women are weak are retards! ๐Ÿ˜ก But surprisingly, the women who weak are the ones who get away with life, 'coz society loves them that way. The ones who are strong are the ones who are rebels! ๐Ÿค”

๐ŸคฃThe second paragraph.. I am so sorry its just so funny I don't even know what to say .. maybe I will think of something to say if I ever ever manage to stop laughing! ๐Ÿคฃ

Ok, I give up.. I am bowing out! This was fun. I love gender debates! ๐Ÿ˜†

question for KA..

what if you walk into a starbucks or similar coffee shop and guy at the couner refuses money saying "its on me".. you'd insist on paying of course
if s/he does not give in what would you do as a matter of principles leave money at the counter anyway?.. or quietly grab your drink and leave quickly even if you had planned to sip sitting there?
don't ask me what I did ๐Ÿ˜†

well well well...lol. well asking for money and someone offering you a drink are two different things. in life people exchange gifts and one does not refuse those. in this particular situation though i would pay the person as i dont know him or her and i dont see any need to receive that favor. i dont think anyone will offer either. lol
i pulled out but answering this since u asked me directly. lol.
