force marriage!!

parents normally get their son/daughter(specially daughters who most likely 2 b under age) married off back home.(motherland)
is it right?
should the goverment do something or should they allow it 2 happen?

Its illegal to marry a girl under the age of 18 and a guy under the age of 21 in India.

But some parents pass of a 17 year old girl as a 18 year old because a good rishta has come. If some one reports this , then chances of stopping such a marraiges are there . But are lovely cops that would take "under the table" bribes would let such things pass.

I think that Forced Marraiges should not take place, But am confused if U are asking that there should be ' Forced marraiges" or ' Arranged Marraiges"

😆 😆i noticed the "lovely cops" its the same in paki too ppl tell me..but is it like that i usa i dont think so maybe though😕

there shd b no forced marriages and government shd take sum serious steps to stop this otherwise i can b a big prb 😕

It does frm the last i heard like when gals frm the uk r forced to get married frm pakistan/india der r organisation which support this i actually knw a gal who waz rescued and brought bak to the uk coz her parents where forcing her to marry sme1 she doesnt wanna be wid

there was girl who was just 16 and she was being forced 2 get married 2 some1 she doesn't even know!
she ran way 4rm home and for 3 years they haven't seen her since.

yea i knw a gal like dat an all did u hear about dat gal shafilea ahmed the police claims her parents have murdered her and that she waz forced to get married to sme1 in pakistan
