school these days are stiffling creativity and producing adults that follow every thing that their bosses say. from my experience, teachers are concentrating more onthe exams and covering the syllabus rather than getting the student learn something or develop interest inthe subject.

I would take home tutoring my kid (if and when i have one 😉 ) anyday over sending her to school.

Going to school is fun and interesting. I agree with that. BUt what is the purpose of a school? isnt it to train children for future life? Teach them values? Isnt it to make them a well rounded, responsible adults?

The problems with the current schooling system:

the values are not stressed enough in school.

Individuality is stiffeled. If you dont agree with the author or the teacher you get flunked.

stress on following the leaders or teachers. one who tries something innovative or new is looked down upon.

problem of bullying.

I agree, I cant think of a better alternative, btu the current system sucks. OFcourse it is fun. but it could have been more useful with some inputs form real life.
and Sri, the school days are best because of in that age a person tends to enjoy whatever he is involved in. dont you think so?

U shud meet my Info tech teacher. Once he hit me wid a whiteout n then later he is like it slipped out of my hand. I dont like him at all. 😡
