I enjoy cooking food, serving food and eating food.

Enjoyment is happiness.

Human beings need economic goods to "enjoy" life, too - along with immaterial possessions.

Who does not buy food - Farmer and a Beggar. Where does he find happiness ? Money ? I doubt.

And a beggar begs all day for just that - money, or rather, something to buy economic goods with.

Happiness is a broad spectrum. There are things like love, commitment, friendship, healthy conversation, etc that money can't necessarily "buy" (at least not to the same extent as the others). But then there are economic goods people do need - some for necessity, some for luxury.

yes it does only if you have enough to feed gas to your car.. or pay taxes for your river facing Apartment or get security with highly paying job or have a girl/boy friend who doesn't have direct relationship with your bank balance.
that said, you should have enough money that you dont go to work for it and you can spend your time with family...

agree money bring happiness.. without money a person has to suffer alot..! like u can't get admission in private college without money u can't buy a new car u can't celebrate like rich people u can't give ur loves ones a special gift or some precious thing.. Like money hain to honey hain. a girl in today's world what wants just this that her hubby should have to b rich.she dosen't need anything else i'mnot talking about all but some..:money bring status, happiness, freedom and poweer ofcourse.. so money in today's world is too important for a person to live in this evil world. so many cases are just closed because of this money .
