It's OK if he does it once or twice, but doing it on a regular basis does not give him a free ticket to holiness or whatever he thinks of himself as. Yes there are other actors in SI, and if you read my post carefully, you will see that I have not mentioned them. Firstly, because this topic is specifically about Rajnikanth and secondly, I knew the bolded part before.

I was dragged to hall by my south indian friends in UK when Shivaji released. I was surprised to see they are clapping, whistling every scene Rajni is appearing, clapping after every dialogue Rajni is uttering despite the fact it was really rubbish..They were neither interested in the quality nor the content but only in Rajni..I was like what the heck, whatever he does is great, dont scrutinize him..That's insane....
