She's young, she'll learn. In other sections, its common that the OP replies to all or most of the posts made in his or her thread. If she is doing that, its not causing harm, is it? At least she's sticking to the topic in some ways! She's young, she'll observe and learn from that. She has time. What bothers me more is how some of the older members, and supposedly more "mature" members spam in the section. Don't you think you should be providing them with this "netiquette knowledge"?

@Kanky- I hope you're enjoying the section! In a debate or discussion, its not necessary for you to repeat your stance after every post. You only have to respond to posts when you feel you have something to add to the discussion. Otherwise, its okay to ignore some posts. Its okay, you'll learn. :)

yeah kanky's a nice gal, just young.. heck, there are members older than her who have done worse things :P

Knowledge remains with you forever.. and you do need it after getting a job or it might be useful in some other practical situations whatever.
Grades are equally important ONLY till you get a job. Besides, I don't think you can clear you're exams so well if you just keep cramming. You need to understand everything atleast to some extent to produce you're answers. You are in grade 8th with limited syllabus and all.. but once you start doing higher studies, I don't think it would be possible to parrotise all 700-800 pages of each subject!
And I do agree with you. Knowledge should be considered priority and not grades which can be banked by anyone regardless of how the knowledge they have on the subject.. (there are people who have abundance of knowledge oozing out of them, but fail to produce it in the exams and students with little knowledge get away with cramming) .. =]
But, the educational system is doesn't bother how much of a knowledge you carry. It's all about grades.. And, I don't think it would be possible by the educational institutions to conduct exams in a way that would test the magnitude(?) of the knowledge you carry.
We just gotta deal with it. :(

^^ That exactly is my problem. I don't like the education system here.

It's like, even though the CCE pattern is changed; children and parents who are used to the old one continue sticking to old "my son's always gets more than 90%" agenda. Besides, it is VERY difficult to change the mindsets of people in here. They still have nothing to do with knowledge, but grades. Sure, I am young but I have seen seniors mugging things up. They may bot mug the whole thing, but mugging doesn't help, anyways.

Arre Kanky, mugging helps you in getting grades right?! When you bag good grades - you tend to get a good job!
When you get a good job, you'll lead a good, luxurious life. Knowledge goes waste if you don't get jobs. :P
So, grades are not useless, they make our lives, unless you're going to invent something like Thomas Alva Edison! 😆
Plus, you need to have the erudition, a strong base on what you're studying, which will help you when you're working. You can put it this way, the assessment of every single person comes after you get a job. :)
Is it SO tough getting good grades, no, it isn't..
Since you have "the knowledge" on the subject, a little bit of hard-work should bring you the grades. :)
In such a case, you'll have the knowledge and the grades with you! ;)
EDIT : Considering grades as everything IS wrong, but can you infuence the thinking and conditioning by the society? No.. you cannot. Just ignore people who think grades are everything, or, you can throw some light on how things work to whomsoever it may concern. 😆 Plus, they do make sense when they say "grades are everything" as they get us jobs! 😛

I already have them. Eehaha! 😆

Fine, I think you are right.

Having both grades and knowledge gets difficult sometimes. 🤔 People with knowledge become over confident (I admit, even I am. Working over it.) and the hardworking cramming geeks don't get good grades even though, they study a lot.
