I agree.

I really don't know what and why are they teaching us? SERIOUSLY! My fathers tells me the same, you know. Teachers THEN and teachers NOW!

All things being equal, knowledge, skill and grades would be important. Some of the richest persons have been dropouts too.
I think a good character is more important than all knowledge, grades and skills. I have seen a lot of clever and intelligent persons turn out to be a nuisance to society.
So called "intelligence" and "cleverness" and "wealth" have often become a burden.
Personally I prefer a kid of average intelligence who is well behaved compared to a smart alec who is a nuisance. These smart alecs can cause a lot of problem in working life.

I agree, I am a nuisance myself so I understand what is with the geeks and nerds and how arrogant a nerd like myself can be at times! 😆😆

Common sense and good prudent knowledge says

1) You don't have to reply to everything

2) You don't have to quote someone to reply to a thread

3) When you quote someone in a debate or discussion, try to be clear if it is to agree or disagree.

4) You don't have to say something unless you have something clearly relevant to say.
